Sending Jewellery to Australia

Is it ok to send silver or costume jewellery to Australia? (Just a small gift for my granddaughter).

Too hot here to do much. Stepping out into the garden is like opening an oven door. Silly dogs followed me out when I went feed the tortoises and immediately started puffing and panting.

I know neti, I can hardly believe he's barely 2 weeks old, he's very with it.

Same here I've done very little in this heat, I've got inside under control by shutting it out, having the fan on & drawing the curtains on the sunny side. Some cloud about tho and they have mentioned storms. I love a good storm (sorry if your dogs don't) but hate to think of it doing damage.

Ooerr...What's with google, when I start a search the page whizzes round? as if I'm not dizzy enough.

Just tried again and it didn't do it.

The temperature has now dropped to 28 from 30. I went outside for a quick stroll and came back in quickly. Master LL walked over with new member of the family, Misty, and her and Meggie get on OK thankfully. Alice cat kept her distance, but Misty likes cats as does Meggie.

It's a shame when we've waited for so long for summer to arrive and then it gets too hot to go outside! What a waste.
I feel for anyone having a baby this weekend, the hospital was way too warm a fortnight ago, I dread to think what it's like now.

It's just nice here .Lovely gentle sea breeze to keep it comfortable .It says 28C in the garden atm but it was a bit cooler down the beach where we had fish and chips and sat and watched the grockles for while .It was very hazy out to sea though.

I cooked egg and bacon for hija before she trotted off to work, she been very quiet lately and off her food, either in love or out of it I suppose! The I've made ibicenco salad to go with the flan (fried onion, fried red and green peppers, with pot chunks and garlic and parsley all mixed together), had lovely swim and a lay in the sun but as it was 5.30 it was more pleasant, but I get bored. Wish I could relax in an English garden with lots of nice greenery and cool drinks.

Shaney is having more of a social life than I am, grrr!!

Please not there's no pool. The mini pond's green and drying up and there's a big frog who sits in it in the afternoons.
