I am afraid that with such a serious condition any travel insurance is going to be very expensive and limited cover.
There won't be limited cover - the reason that it's expensive is because the condition IS covered. A lot of companies these days won't let you exclude any medical conditions but the last time I checked, Insure And Go do. It's thanks to them that I was able to take my mum on a last holiday. I excluded her cancer and took her to Europe where we could fall back on EHIC if needed
^^ That's what I meant by 'Limited Cover' that the condition itself would not be covered.
Eddie - the price is high because the condition is covered. In the last year of my Mum's' life I took her to Dubai. She had stage 4 cancer. Her insurance for the week cost £2300. When I took her to Cyprus 7 months later, the insurance was less than £200 because her cancer was excluded from the policy. That's how it works.
Hi, we just got insurance with new company as have quite a number of pre-existing conditions. We went on the Allclear website and then got good quote from Ok To Travel.
