I mean they only seem to have three subjects that they seem to find amusing, Trump, Boris and brexit. What are they going to do now, these right on comedians that infest the BBC and Channel 4? Perhaps they should try and broaden their appeal outside their London centric narrow virtue signalling view point and start actually making the rest of the country laugh.

Arhhh not Benny Hill, always looked pervy, yuk??
couldn't understand the appeal of Bob Monkhouse.

the only comedian who made me ache with laughter after seeing him in concert was Ken Dodd, a true genius.
i agree bobbi,.
Good old Bernard Manning. Now he WAS funny. Trouble was if you'd seen him once that was it. All his shows were the same.
couldn't get away with that smut now 10cs.
Loved Bob Monkhouse, Les Dawson, Billy Connolly and Ken Dodd. Sadly only Billy left and am enjoying his look back at his career being screened. Today's lot couldn't hold a candle to them although Jimmy Carr and Sarah Millican have grown on me (slightly).
Benny Hill turned my stomach. Horrible man.
And arguably the best, a woman, the fabulous Victoria Wood! Alas no longer here but very funny I thought.
Peter Kay yes like someone else said, just one look at him and I'm off. Loved Dave Allen, fab.
I really liked Ken Dodd too , Bob Monkhouse was an ad-lib genius
i do think there is something of a divide in the country over who is funny, after all Bobbi likes Peter Kay, a Northern lad, comedian, who i don't get.
Eughhhh, Sarah Milligan is like scraping your nails down a blackboard Maggie :(
you had to see Ken Dodd live to get it. Over 4 hours and he was still going strong. I came out with bruised ribs from laughing so much
A Ken Dodd gag:
People are so agressive and insulting these days aren't they? Don't you think so fish face?
Omid Djalili is one of the best today. So funny.
where that came from followed better ones and a million more, i loved his live show.
LB, really?
It's difficult to point to any of Ken Dodds' act being better than other parts of it but his ventriloquism with Dicky Mint was really, really funny.
Dustin Gee was one of my favourites. Sadly he was only 43 when he died.
Yes, really Em. Why would I write it otherwise?
Nobody else liked Victoria Wood then?
