KM Links Game - August week 3 results

Good morning everyone - there were one or two prophetic statements made over the weekend - one in particular from eccles who observed vast choice and he was so right.

We were inundated with so many ideas that only 11 points were scored - this would have to be the quietest contest ever.

The matches were -

Custard Apple or Apple Custard [glad I don't have to choose]
Break Dance
Wisdom Tooth
Head Hunt

And where did those points go - ulysses100 & jobjockey both selected Custard Apple, sarumite went for Break Dance, Elspeth, paulineward, roslyn251254, Grenmus, x-ray & Gill G were showing off their Wisdom Tooth, while slaney & Christiana went Head Hunt [ing] and scored a point for their troubles.
And that, as the actress said to the bishop, was that, the second-hand abacus barely got out of first gear.

However I have just realised that August is a 5-weeker, so there's a little extra time for those of us, sitting gracefully on our laurels [ glad there's no thorns !! ] to improve the situation if we can.

Well done the scorers. To you leaders I have to say I'm glad I decided to hang back and give the rest of you your moment of glory. And thanks as ever to Steff - it can't be easy doing the sums when you're upside down.

Wow! I've scored my first point, so no longer a non-entity!!?
Although I do seem to be the only "Break Dancer" in town!!
