We had fireworks here tonight, an organised display somewhere although I hadn't found it advertised. Dogs weren't happy but weren't as upset as they have been other years. So far, so good.

Maggie Smith was just brilliant on Graham Norton. As expected she was hilarious and talked quite a lot about The Lady in the Van. I could have watched her all night.

It's my twelfth AB anniversary today which apparently is silk. That's handy then, I've got a lovely new cloak ...but I just don't seem able to get this thing off the ground...

Have had a crew cut, felt fed up and wanted to be different. I nipped to usual hairdressers even tho I know they are away but even the assistants didn't have time, so I went to the cheap chinese one, brilliant, it's not that short about an inch, I love it.
Sunny hot day here, no idea what to wear.

This island is officially shut. To get a flight to Alicante (40mins usually) is now 11hrs as it goes all round the houses. Driving me mad. We decided we'd like to go to Benidorm and Murcia but flights are so difficult to get.

lol shaney. I loved how she kept mentioning Waitrose (and the little boy, "It'll come to me in a minute"). She's probably had a huge hamper delivered today.
It was a lovely afternoon once the sun appeared.

Yes she was good .I liked it when she said that he (Olivier) said her vowels weren't good enough,so she went in to him, stuck his eyelashes on and said..how now brown cow ..I rolled up.She's very witty.

Yep She's so good. Maggie Smith I'm on about. I stayed up to watch her and so pleased I did. So funny. Looking forward to seeing The Lady in the Van.

Had A great football day today. The Redsocks under 16 girls won 5 - 3 even though they were losing 3 - 1 at half time and The Rams Beat Rotheram 3 - 0
The sun was shining and everybody was happy.

I walked most of the way there and all the way back so I'm a bit tired now.

I've not seen any Halloweeners but theere are fireworks going off again.

We had fireworks going off somewhere from 6 to 10.45. The dogs hated it but melatonin really helps. Its the difference between "I don't like this and its scary" and panic terror. I'd like to go to bed but Shughy won't go out for a pee yet and I KNOW he's bursting.

Good morning. No fireworks here as they are not allowed but Halloween has really taken off here. Everyone dressing up and having parties. Well except for us!

Sunny here. Mr N has decided we are going on the ferry to Denia, which means I can take lots more clothes yippee. We are hiring a car in Denia then hitting the road as we did in the 70's. Mind you it's only for 4 days as sitter can't look after Mousey after that. Am trying to book the ferry (1st class) online but as we are foreigners it is difficult, they still, after all this time, don't know how our paperwork works, and yes we need lots of it to live here! United Europe my a**e.
