Hi all here I is. Been to Tai Chi and lunch as usual. Got told I was looking good and had more colour in my face so that made me smile as did your comments about tena which made me laugh out loud. Hope you did too Woofy. Cheering you up a bit...I hope.Feel better soon.
At the mo if I cough once I panic and am waiting for the ruckle in my chest for the next hour. Seriously though I do feel a lot better and me and my walking friend have organised a longer walk to Wirksworth for our next trip out.
Not a deal to do in the house so I've been on my laptop for a while sorting a few things, (my mistakes,) out.
I'd love to see you and little man Moondust eating a pie Robi. Making me hungry talking about it so I'm off to get something to eat.
See ya later.
I just fancy a bacon cob.
Hello all, much better today thanks all. Its not the flu vac, I have had sinus problems all my life. I just juggle treatments until it drains or I need the mexico.
We actually went out for a drive today to mail a couple of letters and wander round the local garden centre. The dogs snoozed in the car and ate baked turkey treats so a good time was had by all.
Lovely to see you all back and healthy for a given value of "healthy" :)
No no woofy I wont have it. It is the flu jab, everything is the flu jab's fault, dust in the house, dirty car, rain, it's all the flu jabs fault!

Pie and cabbage was very nice indeed, we both had 2nd helpings!

Hello jude, you do sound much better, just like your old self.

Oh I am bathed and in cosy pj's sitting in lounge by lamplight and a cosy fire (effect). Mr N reluctantly went to the bedroom to watch boring tv!! for years when we had Sky and Sports he had the tv in the lounge, so now all the tvs show freeview and nothing else he can't say much when I suggest that he goes!!

Morning all...nowt good about it, it's dark, cold and very very wet.
I know what you mean Jude, every time I start to feel a bit 'iffy' I panic that it's going to be something awful. I'm the same as you woofy with sinus problems, any change in weather, putting the heating on etc sparks it off. I went once to ear, nose and throat but he wasn't much help. Unless you've got really severe permanent problems they don't do anything nowadays it seems.

Have you seen how much gondola baskets cost now shaney? I had one for cookery at school...great for clonking people on the head as you brush past their seats on the bus.
Good day all.
Was.up early and at garage at 8am to get a new tyre for Mr Ns van as it has it MOT next week. So I decided to stay up. Went to village early met gbf early, had a laugh. Decided to defrost 2 no frost freezers! It's taking forever. Also trying to out away summer shoes but getting fed up, there are just so many.
Am waiting to see a ENTspecialist but don't hold out much hope. I was.engaged to one in the 70s, where is he when I need hin! !
Anyone know what tesco F&F sizing is like? I want to order a fab jacket but don't know if I need a 16 or 18 . It sort of hangs lose in the front.

this is it...........
Hello all
Wet dreary day here too.Not a lot to be done when it's like this .
Those baskets are really expensive these days Robinia .I think they cost about five bob in our day ..lol.
I have got a wicker basket I bought in Lidls some while ago now and used for my knitting, then I bought a different knitting basket with a lid so I use the other one to cart my stuff round the house.
I get bunged with sinus and it gets worse with the heating .Had them drained years ago but it never cured it properly. It's itchy eye day today.I wonder what it'll be tomorrow .)
Ooh I like that Neti .Can't help with the sizing though.Never bought any clothes from Tesco.

I like those coats neti. Never bought any but from what I've seen Flo n Fred clothes aren't generous. That said if I was buying anything drapey I'd go for a smaller size.
I'd like a new warm, casual coat but first I've got to convince myself to put an old wool one in the charity bag for tomorrow. It still looks smart but I'll never wear it again, I just loved it at the time.

Lol @ your smiley shaney. Have you rubbed one of your eyeballs out? :)
Lol..I'll be itching somewhere else probably .I always start itching when the heating goes on and Boots make a huge profit on all the body lotion I buy .
Trust you Neti ..I've had a wander round F&F ,they've got some nice things. I'll have to empty my money boxes :)
Little devil me I've only gone and bought that jacket.but they won't deliver to Ibiza (?) But ibiza transport is bringing it next week. It's being delivered to their unit in Spalding! Ooh so excited.
Well, would you Adam and Eve it? The local health authority have had the very nerve to send me a text saying it's time for my flu jab!! As if.....
oooo jealous. i looked long and hard at that coat but it only goes up to size 18 :( and I think that Tesco sizing is a bit mean.
We had a power cut last night just after 11 and it came back on at 1 then off then on then off then on....finally got settled at 2am.
Well woofy am a bit worried that size 16 may be a bit small, but I bought a dress there in the summer size 14 and it was ok! Fingers crossed, at least with the front all loose and floppy (the coat's not mine!) it may just sort of hang there!
Lol Neti - floppy you are not!!! Just sitting watching some new drama about the police in Brighton. Just watching to see if I can see any places I recognise.
I enjoyed it Jude.
Good morning. Yes I watched Cuffs to. I recognised a few places as it was filmed near to wear my sister had a house in North Lane. Also there was a scene (with those awful girls I think) that was at the back of the Pavilion. By the Theatre Royal.
