good morning, beautiful garden woofy.

Kept losing my posts yesterday so gave up. Now have a new water heater thank heavens, I can cope without one for a little while but sis couldn't!!

Got the sniffles today, which is ok as sis leaves tomorrow, and I can spend all week in bed!
Ref to the bath; I love a bath, have one every night, luckily I can still get in and out without any trouble, it makes me all cosy and warm. Obviously we have showers in the heat of the summer. Temperature has really changed now, am back in winter pj's and have duvet on bed. This is the life!! :-)
Hello all
Nice pictures Woofy.Lovely autumn colours.
Turned cold here today but at least it's dry and not so dank .A burst of sunshine would be nice.

A'noon...lovely pics woofy. Shame we've no sun to show off any autumn colour, cold and thoroughly miz day here. One man and his mower didn't show up. I texted him but no reply and he's disappeared from fb.... tut...and it's clocks back weekend. :( I think I might go invisible...

I dot a dold!
Oh dear Neti.....just breathe the other way would you? We went out early this morning to avoid the bottle bank wagon because it frightens the dogs....I have no idea why but we use it as an excuse to go and shop at M and S food and eat something delicious for breakfast in the car. I bought one of their gastro ready meals, steak and chips with pepper sauce, wish I had read the instructions first, the steak was part cooked and you boil it in the bag, then fry it to brown, the chips went in the oven. Very weird and not nice.
Yes ,keep it to yourself Neti.Hope you soon feel better though.
That sounds horrible Woofy ,boiled steak. What a shame . M&S stuff is usually nice .
We had some sausages from the butchers which are expensive but to die for ,with horseradish mash, runner beans and lots of onion gravy.
What's occuring here ..lol,I seem to have missed all the excitement. CB is all of a kerfuffle :)
Been watching teevee.Lucy Worsley being all romantic and then Michael Portillo's new continental train journeys series. He travelled from Vienna to Trieste tonight .Very interesting. Dishwasher has finished chugging so ...Night all.

Morning all..
I was out early this morning to avoid....well.... everyone really. Good thing anyway because it lightened my mood and piddled it down when I got back.... it looks like more of the same all day. I hope we don't get any effect from hurricane Patricia. With a name like that she had to be fierce.

Inspired by woofy's pics I got some cyclamen to pop in a shallow planter later. I used to put them in the ground but they never did much or were dug up by wildlife.
The best of yesterday's pics, my camera's very hit and miss....

Hello all
Another dull chilly day.Rain starting in 93 mins.
Nice pictures Robina. .I've got a big patch of sedum, lovely splash of colour.
My garden's looking droopy now ,bit like me :)
hello all. I am tied to the house with a duff knee again. It will go away but for now its short walks with a stick and much swearing. Robi, those pics are lovely.
Hello all, up early and took sis to airport, so sad to see her go! But house is now tidy and all beds and mats and towels and nighties all washed and dried. Having had friends and sis here, it is now rather quiet, spect I'll get used to it.

Lovely piccies Robi

BUT WHY DOES EVERY THREAD HAVE TO INVOLVE PLANTS AND FLOWERS AND SO ON AND SO ON...................................................
the wall is almost better - stripped to the bricks, injected with Class A drugs, and replastered, which is now half dry. Everything has been hoovered and the floor steam cleaned, but there still seems to be dust in the air and up the nose. It'll be weeks before it can all be repainted and we might take advantage of the opportunity to have the whole room painted, but that means the spare room knee deep in books for a while.

Loving all those garden photos. Ours is kinda drab at the moment.
I know, neti - keep it simple is my motto

Jno, my experience with building dust is that it will take about a week and several cleans to get rid of it and there is no point doing much except continually damp dust and vaccuum before that.....Oh BTW, you need two pegs so they can match!
Grrrr !

Oh dear, so many websites, so many lovely clothes I don't need....or do I?Are you ever too old to wear a parka?

lol @ jno's pic.
Dust? Oh you won't see the back of that until the clocks go forward again. I think it lays eggs in corners and they explode in the night. I still haven't brought everything downstairs after my recent revamp and I haven't missed much yet.

So sorry neti, I forget about your chlorophyllophobia. Here's a nice outdoorsy pic that's right up your street....not a plant in sight and everything matches. Is that you? :)

Very pleasing Robi that brings joy to my heart!
CBA to cook so I had poached eggs on cheesy toast and Mr N concocted something from the leftovers in the fridge, which looked absolutely revolting! Now all bathed with clean hair in a lovely clean bed, house spotless, nice feeling!
I can't remember the last time my house was spotless.....probably before we moved in.
