Ah relief, at least you are here now jno!
Oh dear Neti ,sorry to leave you on your lonesome.I know the feeling of talking to yourself :)
Busy day ,hairdresser, bits of shopping ,post office, florist and it takes me a while to hobble from A to B and on to C and home again.
It's been a nice day here ,sunny and quite mild.
Hope you're all ok .
it was me with the virus, not the net. I woke up with glands and a sore throat and have spent the day sleeping.....feeling much better now.

Good morning, moaning Minnie's back.... I've been kindly informed the site's fixed & there's been an apology, albeit a small one and tucked away. Never mind about polls an trivial Q's they need to keep the cogs oiled on here. It got to the point of pop ups/slow loading/closing down every few minutes and I'm too grumpy at the moment to be bothered with things like that. The clock change really seems to have addled my brain. Apparently we all need a 20 min nap in the afternoon. I think a 20 min nap every hour would be good for me, I've plunged into hibernation mode.
I'm grumpy now...I didn't feel like it but I was all psyched up and almost ready to go (hobble) to the dentist earlier and they rang to postpone, the dentist injured her hand last night. No, no one bit it, that's my job :)
Yesterday's gripe was doing a dark wash, fleeces, jeans, socks, knicks etc not with one but two tissues in a pocket. Lovely. On the plus side little man Moondust came to see me...and after he'd gone I found a dinky car hidden under almost everything. I don't recommend sitting on one.

Hope you're all as well as possible and virus free. :)

If "they" don't want users migrating to ad block en masse, "they" had better do something! All very quiet here. Dogs are asleep and I am still feeling a bit post viral plus one ear is bunged up.
Lovely that you got a visit from Moondust. My great nieces used to do that when they visited my late Mum. She kept a toybox for them and it would be days, sometimes weeks, before she found the last hidden surprise.
Hello all
Bit of a dismal day although they said sunshine so I'm grumpy too :)
Some of 'em don't know what to moan about next .Get your knitting needles out Robinia ,between us we can supply the whole of AB with string bags. Some might need larger holes though to let out the hot air .
I'm virus free, hopefully ,but pain full today.

Hail hail the gang's all here, well apart from jude and we never know where she is.

And welcome to our errant Robi.

Had blood tests this am, they took 4 phialls 2 red, 1 yellow and 1 lilac, heavens I was like a deflated balloon when I came out! Decided to stay up and not creep back to bed, it was 8am when I got home. So went to PO to sort out this flaming customs , got this little Miguel and he was so nice, but he couldn't access the website either so I trotted off to have coffee with gbf and an hour later trotted back to Miguel who typed a letter from informing them of what was in the packet, he scanned and sent all my documentation etc, bless then he popped an anti smoking chewing gum as he was by then desperate and it is forbidden in public places. Bless! No idea what will become of it all. He says there is no problem at xmas as there are too many parcels for aduana to bother with! So many people here on the island have had their parcels returned to sender even though they have done all the paperwork, so am not holding my breath!
Yes I was a lonely little soldier but you are here now.

Just made a meat and pot pie and fied cabbage for dinner. I had some left over flakey pastry so made jam tarts, ha! they all rose in the oven, the jam slid off and burned everwhere, and the tarts were black as night underneath, so they are in the bin!

I am more ornamental than funtional, is my motto!!
Our council gives us free fold up nylon shopping bags.

Haha...lol shaney. This time next year we'll be millionaires. Can you remember those plastic string bags from the 60s? We'd get a lot of tuts faffing about with those at the checkout on a lunchtime.
Snap! re the aches n pains, I feel like a well thumped punchbag.
Question Author
Flippin' 'eck, where did three netis spring from? Moondust's favourite food is pie, anything in, on or under pastry. He's definitely got my genes.
Oh I hated with a vengence those plastic string bags, and they stretched and stretched so by the time I got anywhere the shopping was dragging along the ground.

At least in those days if you bought anything personal the assistant put it/them in a paper bag. I dread to think what would be falling through the holes nowadays. :)
nothing personal to worry about now, tena are too big.........
Question Author
Lol neti...they'll be handy if your gin bottle leaks.
Oh poor woofy, hope you are not suffering too much. It's that damn flu injection!!
My dold came to nothing. .....
I used to like the gondola style baskets we had in the 60's and the woven ones with the long straps to go with the dolly dresses .
I've morphed into a shopping trolley dolly now though:)
Have to say that if shoes hurt then a tena on the insole will ease things.Sorry jno!
That's the trouble with netis. You wait for ages and then 3 come along at once.
