KM Links Game - August week 1 results

Good morning everyone - I'm getting an early start today as it's rather on the nippy side here and the sooner this is posted, the sooner I can get back to sitting by the fire and a reduced chance of frost-bite - a strong case for a laptop, sooner rather than later.

Our results are a bit on the nippy side, too, or should I say few and far between as the matches were -

Copy Right
Tank Top
Sugar Snap
Pipe Organ

And while the first two were reasonably popular, the last two - well two takers for each one wouldn't win them any prizes, now would it ?? In fact I'd almost given up hope of Sugar Snap going off until KAWAKIRI nabbed it, then CHRISS who often picks up one of the more unexpected ones, came in too.

Two ladies managed to collect 3 points for their troubles, having matched two correctly - LYSANDER & DUSTYBUN and they head the Leader Board, such as it is in this early stage of the month, followed by a further 20 entrants who have opened their tallies with one point each.

So that's where things stand for this week but we'll reconvene to do it all again, same time, same place, next Saturday - till then, have a good week, I'll catch you later, Steff

Thanks Seekerz. No points for me in either game this week - lateral thinking not good enough, obviously! Well done Lysander and Dustybun.
Wish me luck - later this morning I'm going to run a disc cleaner thingy to try to free up a bit more space on the hard drive. Last time I did that it removed all sorts of useful things and I had to re-register on several sites. I've chosen Monday morning because with any luck I might be back to normal by Friday evening.....

Thanks for moral support everyone! The ccleaner worked, with only a couple of sites where I've needed to re-register (so far!). Unfortunately it didn't free up as much space as I'd hoped, possibly because I use the disc defragmenter tool quite frequently anyway so it wasn't too clogged up. I've now updated to IE8, which has made the AB site look much sharper.
