In a time when more important matters should be on politicians minds, why is the term 'Marriage' that important to homosexuals, that politicians find the need to change the law, specially to accommodate them?

Heres a possible solution..

Marriage when the reason for joining two people is love

civil partnership to allow for a joining of two people who would like a platonic relationship regardless of gender to be formally recognised to give it legal standing for financial/security reasons

Or better still pagan handfasting for a year and a day....or 'while love lasts

Would suit those who are repeat offenders like Doc

The pagan thing would suit you...when the love ends you walk away no guilt no divorce... not having a go.. as you may never see the world in the shades of grey some of us have learned...but it must be quite nice to have everything so black and white
