Oh I agree paul ..the Brits &Yanks are both arrogant when it comes to their Language skills.As a Brit I would place some of the blame on our Education system.When I was at school we were only introduced to a 2nd Language at the age of 11..much too late imo...and doomed to failure for most!

sat afternoon, i'm sat at the bar chatting to my mate and the guy next to him is ponitificating away about football and announces that the reason their are no black manages in the prem is that they are all thick and lack the intelligence to become managers - but he's not being racist thats a fact. possibly on catching sight of me he then states that the reason there are no asian players is because they are too intelligent and their parent make then become chemists or doctors
