Charles And Camilla

Well it seems that simply by posting a news report on the accidental death of Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall's brother it has opened a whole can of worms full of hatred against this Camilla.
So I think the best questions to ask now is why is she so hated by some, was it because Charles happened to fall in love with a married women, (nothing new there it happens not only to the aristocracy, but even to mere mortals)?
Or was it because the late Princess Diana, reached idol status among the minds of some?
And finally why in the minds of some is Charles not fit to become King, or Camilla his Queen?

Does anyone really think that the British people would choose Kinnock, Blair or Farage?
Nonsense. Other, mature democracies seem to manage. Eire?
As for the health of Charlie boy, absolutely no idea. Nothing against these people. It's not his fault he was born 'heir to the throne'. Just think the institution is ridiculous and there are legitimate concerns about the behaviour, intelligence and possible future conduct of the Prince of Wales. As our next head of state I don't think it unreasonable to ask questions, do you?

Out of order mickey - are you having a laugh - she was the woman who broke up two families (all she had to do was say NO) her husband laid down his wife for his country (an honourable man). This was the woman who brazenly attended Diana and Charles wedding the day after committing adultery with her now husband on the eve of his wedding to Diana.
"and Camilla though still married has an affair, is that so right, what must her husband and children have thought of her "
Her then husband was bonking someone else so I don't think he was too concerned .In fact he soon married his long term mistress Rosemary Pitman after he and Camilla divorced
I like Camilla .She seems a down to earth sort of person .And if she makes him happy who are we to criticise .He has to have someone at his side to prop him up .

Maybe we should all bow, suspend intellectual faculties, relish, indeed wallow, in the presence of their Highnesses, bathe in the glorious light of Kings and their former mistresses, hold deference like a steel rod, lie prostrate before them in the certain knowledge that they are ordained in their office by God, fully understand that they are our betters and dismiss from our minds the perverted idea that we, the people, may, at time of our choosing, wish to express thoughts; thoughts based on logic, on respect for the inhabitants of these precious islands and in the hope that idea of someone inheriting the absurd notion of kingship is flagrantly...***.

/// I feel that Camilla does a good job of being consort to Charles BUT why is it that Charles can become king after marrying a divorced woman whilst his uncle had to abdicate and was sent into exile? ///
Because as we are constantly told on here that times have changed, and we should move on so what was unacceptable back in the 30s is now quite acceptable.
Sorry about the best answer award it was a slip of my finger.

Gromit: // He was the brother of Charles' mistress / second wife. //
AOG: // Not the place for this type of thing, says quite a lot about you though. //
What I posted was factual so I have no idea why you over reacted to it.
AOG: // I am not going to take the chance of being banned by telling you. //
Still think you are over reacting to an honest truth which everyone is well aware of. Why you cannot explain what is wrong with it without getting yourself banned is a bit of a mystery.

I like Camilla. She and Charles started their relationship when they were both free and single - but Charles wouldn't have been allowed to marry the love of his life because she wasn't considered suitable material. Diana was virginal and naive, and a good gel, and no doubt desperately sad because she married a dream which didn't materialise in the real world. I'm glad Charles and Camilla finally married and are happy together, and clearly very well suited. To say they are responsible for Diana's death is just not logical. If we believe rumour, she and others were also having affairs, not just Charles and Camilla. It's of no import to us now anyway, what's done, is done.
sp1814, I don't know, she was way more regal than her sister. If she was at a party you attended, nobody was allowed to leave before she did. She sounds like a real pain; though she was very beautiful and popular when young, I think the public would have turned against her as they never have against the queen.
