30/40 Constituencies Spice? At the last enquiry into Electoral Fraud, 16 local authority areas were mentioned as containing WARDS in which there was a greater risk of alleged fraud being reported and investigated. These wards all had one thing in common; a transient population. The only reason i remember this report is because Burnley was among the 16 areas mentioned.
This from a Sky news report, Nov 2019; "Since 1998 Electoral Commission records show that there have only been nine convictions for postal vote fraud, a rate of less than one every two years. Indeed, in 2017, there were only 22 allegations of postal fraud, despite the fact that 8.4 million votes were cast this way, with none ending in convictions."
It goes on to point out that there is, of course, potential for voter fraud within the postal vote system.
personally I have always hated postal voting, so open to abuse and also I tend to think if you can't be arised to go and vote then you don't deserve a vote. Obviously there has to be a system for forces and diplomats overseas. In this day and age it should be possible to do voting online from home which would make muslim block voting more difficult.
If it is an "open secret", how don't you know whether the figure is thirty or forty?
// I think your ‘open secret’ may be wrong //

The Electoral Commission, of course, may not have heard of Lutfur Rahman......
The electoral commission are well aware of Lutfur Rahman. Tower Hamlets is one of those 16 areas i mentioned earlier.

I would think they have
TTT, there have been tens of millions of postal votes cast since 1998 but there have been only nine convictions relating to fraudulent voting since then.
Open secret or pure invention, the nation decides.
TCL: "TTT, there have been tens of millions of postal votes cast since 1998 but there have been only nine convictions relating to fraudulent voting since then. " - only a tiny proportion of speeding offences are ever prosecuted, doesn't mean they didn't happen. Most of the "fraud" is not identifiable anyway as it's mainly enforced block voting.
Just to get back to the point,
Democrats have nothing to worry about from recounts or legal challenges. It’s not so much worry as outrage.
Ordinary people are counting legally made ballots and it takes time. Democracy is messy and the fact that there are delays in part shows that people are determined to get it right while politiciens make all the noise and keyboard warriors spread disinformation.
"Most of the "fraud" is not identifiable anyway as it's mainly enforced block voting.".

If it's not identifiable, how do you know it's going on, me old wally?
did you ever study statistics TCL?
No.

They said the same about grooming gangs for 20 years.
Still, better than telling the truth and being accused of islamophobia, eh, dougie?
Where does your figure of thirty to forty constituencies come from?
Ironically, the vote in Arizona is narrowing, which presumably will be ignored by Trump and co
Remember when Labour put up a candidate oop north somewhere and 'the community' said 'Don't want her, we want our own 'special' candidate' Labour said great, you can have anything you want and sacked their candidate.
And that's how some poor northern oiks got saddled with the delightful Naz Shah.
This is how the mail vote fraud works.

""The Barlow Branch of the Post Office in Traverse City, Michigan, has a principled employee on the job. On Wednesday morning, that employee reached out to James O’Keefe, of Project Veritas, to describe how his supervisor required postal workers to segregate ballots received after the deadline had passed and then stamp them with an earlier date so that they could still be counted.

The Project Veritas video below is short, but it tells you everything you need to know about what happened at the Barlow Branch. As you think about the information revealed in the video, keep in mind that the National Association of Letter Carriers, which represents nearly 300,000 current and retired Post Office employees, endorsed Joe Biden, warning that their “survival” depended on it. It beats me how it’s legal for the people tasked with handling mail-in ballots are allowed to advocate an openly partisan stance, but that’s America in 2020.

The whistleblowing employee explains to O’Keefe that the supervisor, Johnathon Clarke, instructed employees to segregate any ballots they collected on November 4. They were then ordered to place them in a special “express” bin, where they would be hand-stamped with a November 3 date and then sent immediately to the main distribution center. That fake date is important because Michigan law states that, for mailed-in ballots to be counted, the polling place must receive them by 8 p.m. on election day – in this case, November 3.

Put bluntly, what the whistleblower describes is criminal activity and election interference at the Barlow Branch of the United States Post Office in Traverse City, Michigan. Given the postal worker union’s decision to cite “survival” as the basis for endorsing Biden, it’s entirely reasonable to believe that this scene was repeated at other Post Office locations across America – or, at least, in swing states across America.

When O’Keefe asked the whistleblower why he was risking his career to speak up, the whistleblower had a simple answer:

That’s sketchy. I don’t like sketchy. It screams corruption. And knowing the Post Office’s leanings politically, it didn’t seem quite right. *** How are we supposed to have any integrity in this country if we are just going to let things slide based on a scaling issue?""

no it sounds as tho he studied philosophy. it is called an existential assumption ( assume something exists)

fr instance
for another instance
Trump I allege a three headed fraud is arn going this moment in Pennsylvania voting

supporters - oh oh we must look for three headed fraud immediately - stop the count whilst we do!

[ for slow finkers - the supporters have assumed that three headed fraud exists and can be found]

a phrase I never thought I wd ever hear
"the president has claimed without evidence....."
and the law in england by comparison is:

Your postal vote must be completed and returned to us, in the first class envelope provided, before 10pm on polling day. Any postal votes received after this time can’t be accepted.
