"The British Retail Consortium" Which represents all the major food and retail chains in the UK.
Has said it expects to see food shortages and more empty shelves by the end of this week.
This is no longer about... will Christmas be OK ......It's about keeping the wheels turning and the lights on so we can get to Christmas..... Come on Boris ... time to step in. Before there is a winter of discontent under your leadership.

Its not a case of disagreeing or agreeing with gully, its looking at the facts. As someone who normally sells product to the EU, I personally am hitting brick walls trying to trade with the EU. They are making a scapegoat of the UK in a vain attempt to try and stop other Nations from thinking about coming out. Boris did not make good deals and God knows he had plenty...

Don't worry, unless your supermarket is local, you won't be able to drive there - shortages of fuel now (BP & Esso) - plenty of product, the issue drivers - and for petrol, you need special licence clearance given the safety in handling....diesel is less so.
DTC, don’t pee on Gully’s cornflakes hahaha
He’s got cornflakes? Quick! Grab ‘em!!!

But no milk :0(
I have noticed some empty shelves in Aldi and Tesco recently. I have not noticed any shortage at my local butchers who raise the majority of their own meat. Nor has there been any shortage of veg round here - but in fairness, we all put our spare veg in a box at the end of the drive and the locals help themselves/swap.

I shall not worry if there are no turkeys. I reckon we'll be OK with local butchery. But if not, I am sure that I'll cope with some pheasant or venison or a goose or a couple of ducks. It might do people good to realise that their source of food is better sustained locally rather than through supermarkets who import/ship stuff a long way.

Ive got some gin maturing and I may put some wine on the go. So I shall not have to be tee total either.
//...are the prices unchanged, NJ?//

Dunno.
^ My point exactly.
My comment was to Barmaid's post
Seriously, I couldn’t give a rats ass about Gully’s scaremongering,whatever happened we wont starve

Well I suppose this had to happen eventually.
Brexit has just started to take it's toll, lets just hope it doesn't get any worse from here on.
Yes, let's hope so
//Brexit has just started to take it's toll, lets just hope it doesn't get any worse from here on.//
I'm pretty sure you are hoping thing's get worse. And even if it don't get worse your going to be telling us it has
^ Or maybe the OP has a different and very valid opinion to yours Why do people on here get so upset about that?
Whilst i didnt want Brexit and regret it happened we're going to make the best of it. Gulliver takes pleasure in and exagerates any misfortunes in UK and continually tries to blame everything on Brexit and winds up brexiters and all reasonable thinking people
I just think that most people on here seem to be fairly right wing and when someone comes along with an opposing view, they really don't like it and accuse the OP of "Trolling" Everyone has a right to their view whether you like it or not.

Anyone can have opposing views only if you oppose Gully’s he comes out with insults
I don't agree. Many people who disagree with him are very good at handing out insults.
And you’re entitled to your opinion of him, just as others are
I don't have an opinion of him. I don't judge people by their opinions.
Well let’s put this another way
I say something and am told it’s too early for me drinking?

/// Bobbisox 15.21+15,24 you on the G/G again? . it's a bit early even for you.////

Here come the insults :0)

Should I just say Arh it’s just Gully having an opinion?
The answer was removed but not by me reporting it, Why? Because that’s what he does
