Albanian Migrants
All migrants whether legal or illegal will eventually have to be housed and later when they have imported their bride there will be family members coming and overstaying.
We are unable to build housing to meet the needs of British citizens and now have the constant flow of extra people to accommodate. Already there is talk of 'reviewing' the Green Belt. So much for England's Green & pleasant Land

I did say 'they want to be in Europe' - and perhaps for the sake of clarity I should have said in the EU zone - but that was in response to TTT's contention that preventing them from entering the UK would resolve France's problems too - because they would all go away. He subsequently said they would leave France for other EU countries and seek transport to the UK from there. That's when I left him to it. I hope that sorts that out.
// removes the whole swathe of those in the Calais camps...(cut)... Either way crossings are stopped and the Calais camps //
The Calais camps have already been removed. If my memory serves me right, the so called 'Calais Jungle' is now a Nature Reserve.
// win for France //
It's highly unlikely the French would see your proposals as a win.

The 'Jungle' has gone, but the people haven't.
//Since the demolition of the large Jungle camp in 2016 there has been an administrative policy of "no fixation points" for migrants to settle in, aiming to stop another large camp from forming.[22] Police, including the Compagnies Républicaines de Sécurité (CRS), and clearance teams regularly evict migrants from their makeshift camps with new encampments later forming in another or the same location.//

// they must be physically prevented from landing here. It should not be too difficult to simply prevent them from advancing into UK water//
Best of luck with that one!
Not so easy to prevent illegal channel crossings with sympathizers such as the RNLI and Border Force vessels, entering French waters to carry out rescue missions.
As for the Royal Navy, don't count on them. They've now lost all interest in carrying out search patrols.

Indeed. But the Royal Navy and the Border Farce operate under directions from the government. The RNLI is a different kettle of fish and runs mainly (more than 90%) on donations. It was one of the few charities to which I donated my hard earned but alas I stopped donating about five years ago when it was obvious that their involvement in this farce was so entrenched.

This should sort it all out, ?
'Millions of pounds of taxpayers’ money will be sent to Albania to help persuade migrants to stay in the Balkan state, rather than cross the Channel to the UK.
Britain is funding major infrastructure schemes to provide thousands of local jobs and upgrade local facilities in areas where young Albanians have already quit to come to the UK.
They include a huge new hydro electric dam, industrial parks, environmental schemes and leisure facilities in northern Albania, which already has strong links with the UK following the first exodus after the Kosovo war.'
