I think that the lady was asking where her family originated from. I think that is a genuine question, maybe not the time nor the place but it is hardly a major issue.

> how do you know when a liar is telling the truth?
I'm sure we're all guilty of being liars, of lying at some point in our lives, for some reason. So let's not imply that this person lies about all things all the time, otherwise the answer is too easy! The real question is "How do you know when someone is telling the truth?" and, as you know, it helps if you are there. But if you're not, you rely on the evidence not only of the someone, but other witnesses. There were several witnesses, one of whom is Lady Susan Hussey, and she resigned, which in itself is a form of evidence. Why would she resign if Ngozi Fulani was lying? I think she, and the whole Palace machine, is quite capable of handling a downright lie told about them, without capitulating as if it was the undisputed truth.

Drmorgans, they ‘were being treated almost like trespassers in the place’. Really? These were invited guests and invited guests are not treated like trespassers. Even though she made a point of mentioning Meghan Markle’s claimed traumas - what a surprise - she’ll have to try harder than that.
The bottom line is Lady Hussey meant no harm. She has been doing this job for 60 years and meeting people of all shades and from all cultures without complaint. This, quite frankly, stinks to high heaven.

Interestingly, Ms Fulani may well have lied about the Royal Family in the past.
But Naomi and all the bandwagon jumpers determined to vaporise her reputation for having the temerity to call out bigotry, did not know that at the time the issue began to be discussed on here.
But they continually use that retrospective information- itself only trawled for by those looking to discredit Ms Fulani - as some sort of weird 'balance' that infers that the rudeness was lessened because the recipient is somehow morally wanting, and a 'trouble maker'.
That's not how normal people behave.
Ms Fulani's previous behaviour does not mitigate Lady Hussey's wrongdoing, any more than 'sixty years of faultless service' excuses Lady Hussey from basic courtesy to her Majesty's guest.
