I think that the lady was asking where her family originated from. I think that is a genuine question, maybe not the time nor the place but it is hardly a major issue.

andy-hughes either she was racist or she wasnt racist but you would hope either way she was experienced enough not to resign from her position over false allegation and why would this other person lie about it the thing about racism in the palace there were witnesses and the prince of wales basically confirmed that what happened was not acceptable if only he asked for your opinion though
why I’ve asked more than once ‘how do you know when a liar is telling the truth?’
yup and I have answered more than once:
Lord Eldon (*) around 1800, said - " man says he was in Rome on a date and you show he wasnt, you dont win the case. All you can say is that he wasnt in Rome". So you have to judge and assess it by content.
Judge Judy: for it as she: how do you know he was lying. witness: I cd see Boris' lips move. JJ again - not amused and took loud umbrage. and so it should be with us. Naomi should have no difficulty with loud umbrage.
AND I seem to remember Naomi was incandescent over - (1)being wrong without intent to deceive and (2)being wrong and deceitful
Andy ( dear andy, hi andy!) was rattling her bars over it, with gusto
er - - - and I think it was a transcript and Ngozi was wired up. As Sir James Paget said after Amy Bartletts acquittal for murder, 1875 " In the interests of science she should tell us how she did it" No recording in the Palaces by the punters
(*) oh lordy lordy who he den? Lord chancellor 1800-27. No I am not going to look out the reference, I can be arrissed
Togo - Ngozi doesnt have a click in it, does it? Nigerian languages arent click, but may be tonal - or am I wrong? V V technical - rest of AB ignore

Your use of the phrase "fancy dress" says a great deal about yourgeneral opinion opinion of Ms Fulani.
She dresses as she pleases, in a look that clearly means a great deal to her. That doesn't mean that it's fancy dress. It's hardly a clown suit.

She's admits she wears fancy dress to suit the occasion.

Snackrite - As a matter of course I regard anything and everything on Twitter as suspect, home as it is of the attention-seeking bigots of the world.
And similarly, I cannot take anything Michael Fabricant says seriously
A man who cannot even acknowledge his own hair loss without going out in public with the appearance of a circus clown has nothing to say that I wish to hear.

naomi - // Corby, she previously accused the royals of racism and domestic abuse because Meghan Markle wasn’t allowed on the palace balcony. The fact is - and it was a well publicised fact - no non-working is allowed on the palace balcony. //
Anyone who has read this thread is already more than aware of your antipathy towards Ms Fulani, and your need endlessly to trot out this piece of information.
As I have repeated many times, but you appear not to have grasped - Ms Fulani's incorrect assessment of palace protocol is an error.
An error she may have made, believing it to be true - something any one of us can do at any time.
But whether or not the error was intentional, it does not mean that she is therefore to be the subject of rudness from Lady Hussey, without either the right to defend herself, which she did, or the right to an apology which she received.
The issue of lady Hussey's resignation was a mater entirely for her own conscience, and despite the efforts of you and several others to try and make it so - that is not Ms Fulani's responsibility.

naomi - // The bottom line is Lady Hussey meant no harm. She has been doing this job for 60 years and meeting people of all shades and from all cultures without complaint. This, quite frankly, stinks to high heaven. //
It doesn't matter if lady Hussey 'meant no harm' or not - harm was done, and she acknowledged that and apologised for it.
Owning up to damage done, accepting responsibility for it, and making appropriate amends, is part of being an adult.
I doubt Lady Hussey would accept for a moment your continual attempts to pass off her crass behaviour on the basis of either her age, or her status.
She accepted responsibility for her actions on the day it happened - maybe it's time yo finally learned to accept that she did, and stop trying to talk her up as some paragon who simply overstepped the mark with some mouthy Eastender.
