I think that the lady was asking where her family originated from. I think that is a genuine question, maybe not the time nor the place but it is hardly a major issue.

Damn, I missed the 700th post.
I repeat, chortle.
I’ll be there for the 800th, you mark my words!
Oh still my beating heart ...
The last post :-))
I wonder how many pins can be balanced on a pin head.
None obviously. It's full of angels.
goodness me

i’ve heard it said that some people get a lot more bothered by allegations of racism than they do about actual racism… i think that’s very true!
You should never believe all you hear, untitled.
Commendable is the fact, the lengths you have gone to in protecting the honour of NG.

I for one acknowledge this and applaud you. It is indeed an admirable trait.the

Moving on;

AH // this was in no way a racist incident //

NG claims she was racially insulted.

The palace stated racism has no place in our society. Furthermore, Prince William believes the comments were unacceptable and the resignation by LadySH was the right course of action.

It begs the question, why are you in denial?

To whom is your enquiry addressed?

on AB that is! Jesus
AH // this was in no way a racist incident //
NG claims she was racially insulted.

and... there are some things where the victim's opinion has to be counted - harassment is another as I am frequently accused of that

and the defence - "I didernt! I didnt say anyfing"
may not work, as I well know - - -as the so called victim scream their - - - off and crying ( one tear left eye)

yeah. and If I answer it with o god not that again,
all it does is worsen and excoriate ( = they scream louder)

whereas if one of the usual suspects writes the usual one liner 'oh god not PP again!' it is greeted with maniacal laughter from the rest who aver ( probably truthfully) that if they thought for a thousand years that would never occur to them

I am a sad donkey
AH // To whom is your enquiry addressed? //

My penultimate post was aimed at your good self.

I am intrigued as to why you consider LadySH, not guilty of making racist remarks during her exchange with NF?
// I am a sad donkey //

... in your defence, I am happy to report, a donkey with a conscience!
Zebu - I am intrigued as to why you consider LadySH, not guilty of making racist remarks during her exchange with NF? //

I wonder Zebu, if you have read the entire thread from start to finish, and not just cherry-picked one observation from me?

If you have read the thread, and if not, then you should before making any comment, you will read that not only have I probably contributed more posts to it than anyone else, but that I have been a more vociferous defender of Ms Fulani in this disgraceful affair.

I think, if memory serves, that my observation that this was 'not a racist incident' - may have been in observing the way Ms Fulani has unfortunately chosen to expand the situation into something rather larger and more damaging that it may actually have been.

I am wary of using an emotive term like 'racist' because it has such undertones of hatred and incitement.

However, if I posted that phrase, in that context, than it was in haste, and without proper qualification, and does not by any means underpin my overall approach to Lady Hussey's disgraceful behaviour.

And if you read the thread from beginning to end, you will clearly see that.

If you want to have a pop at Lady Hussey's defenders, then any poster, apart from myself, and I think maybe two, at the most three, others, will adequately provide ammunition for you to do so.

That's before the thread took a steep swerve into the Twilight Zone where a number of AB'ers started gleefully trawling the net for information with which to trash Ms Fulani's reputation with, as it transpires, false accusations if impropriety regarding her charity.

Along with her dress, hair style, and name of choice.

So do by all means have a read, and then come back with perhaps a more balanced idea of where your criticism should actually be directed.
Were you paid by the word as a writer andy?

I was, and in some cases, i still am - it depends on the publication.

But my endless verbosity on here is fueled entirely by the love of writing - because obviously I offer it for love.
