Times carries reports which accept that men are deprived of accounts for political reasons.

Thank you to the Coutts customers who have been in touch saying they fall below financial thresholds but unlike Farage have not been threatened with account closure. Clearly a lot of discretion available to the bank.

Farage's account was closed after 20 years without giving him any reason - fact.
Only when he broadcast this was there a shuffling of feet & he was offered an account at Natwest, a hollow offer because the PEP had been placed, so not only was the Natwest offer effectively invalid, the other seven (now nine) banks followed suit.

You and others like-minded, who have a pathological hatred of Brexit should not allow your distorted assessment of reality to cloud what is really going on here.

why was it? He wasn't refused a NatWest account, he was offered one, unless I've missed some news report. So he's not unbanked (unless he declines to take up the offer) and he doesn't have to flee the country, which should make him and you happy.
