Anyone reading the threads on this site would know that I am a lone voice pointing out the truth about Farage and his banking with Coutts – well, it would appear that one Frances Coppola is also aware of the facts (unlike most on AB).

The Bank has a duty of care to its share holders to ensure that its clients do not put them a risk of being involved in money laundering or other financial mis-dealings (which could have serious consequences for the bank) – so it’s quite reasonable that they investigate clients for such risks, and the details of those investigations are held on file, and could be used in the Bank’s defence should a client ultimately be found to have been engaged in say money laundering.
Question Author
The fact that Coutts investigation found Farage to be an idiot is neither here or there – just a matter of fact.
Question Author
Did Farage dispute any of the facts contained in Coutts investigation report on him?
This is just too silly for words. You're wrong and I'm out.
Your sounding desperate hymie. My advice... which am sure you'll ignore ....is to put the spade away
Amongst my friends, work colleagues an acquaintances, no one is really bothered about Farage’s bank account.
But he has found an harmless new cause. One that won’t screw up our trade and economy. So go for it Nige… !
Sometimes, Hymie, you have to swallow your pride and admit you're wrong. It's not giving up, it's growing up.
Question Author
So what were the facts contained in Coutts investigation report that Farage claimed were wrong/in error?

If there were none, what would Farage have to complain about if Coutts/NatWest had done as I suggested?
Keep whipping the dead horse. Clearly Coutts, Natwest et al were all wrong and should have listened to you, Hymie and your opinion, and were, despite what they say, right to close Farage's account and report on their concern about his politics. Do you believe that?! How deluded can you be?? There's no point clinging to a mistake just because you spent a lot of time making it. The inability to move is beyond embarrassing.

This is getting like the Brexit benefits, where the Brexiteers refused to list the Brexit benefits – keeping them secret.

Now people are keeping what upset Farage (other than the bank leaking info to the BBC) secret.
Odder and odder. No-ones keeping it secret- its accepted by everyone (but maybe not you) that Coutts took other issues into account like his views on issues like Trump or brexit and then tried to hide it
// Indeed it’s not what they did... //

So why not discuss what they did do, then?

// ... but had they done that, that would have been the end of it rather than leaking to the BBC. //

Perhaps so. But they didn't.
Question Author
The whole point is that had Coutts/NatWest not leaked info to the BBC – Farage would have nothing to complain about, other than the Coutts report noted what an idiot he is.
Question Author
Is Farage getting desperate now?

The only one getting desperate is you, hymie. Your pursuit of this is truly pathetic.
