Anyone reading the threads on this site would know that I am a lone voice pointing out the truth about Farage and his banking with Coutts – well, it would appear that one Frances Coppola is also aware of the facts (unlike most on AB).

What's 'her truth isn't the same as real truth. Your in denial. Just look at coutts apology.
Is she less famous than 'phil' your brexit youtuber
Perlease, Your BS has been exposed mutiple times, back for another kicking? Do you realise what a prat you look?
‘I am a lone voice pointing out the truth about Farage’

No, you’re someone who’s backed themselves into a corner in the face of unequivocal evidence and can’t face the reality that you made a bit of a tit of yourself. And continue to do so, perversely.
12:24, BA!
I think it's some sort self harm fetish!
Indeed. Pride is a dangerous thing.

NatWest made a monumental error in the way they handled closing Farages account – had they sent him a missive containing the information outlined in Frances Coppola’s tweet, and told him to Foxtrot Oscar, that would have been the end of it.
so is that a back track hymie? Are you now accepting this was political?
How many more people in senior positions within Natwest/Coutts have to resign before you accept you were wrong?
Question Author
And so what would have Farage or anyone else have done, if NatWest’s management had followed my advice and told Farage to Foxtrot Oscar (including sending him Frances Coppola’s tweet) – rather than leaking details to the BBC?
Yes I have seen Frances Coppola talking about this on the TV.

Great name I have to say :-)

This is what I posted on CB (hardly the place for it anyway)

I thought the main reason WAS the money but it arose when discussing his case that he wasn’t the sort of customer they should be encouraging in the circumstances.
I can sort of understand that. If he’d kept his money up the issue might not have arisen because banks like people with money more than they dislike people’s politics.
Unfortunately they briefed indiscreetly and also lied. So losing the room, so to speak
ich, no, the main reason was that they didn't like him. Loads of Coutts customers have less dosh that their theoretical minimum. I actually know one and he is pretty skint.
Question Author
Ah, did-dums – they did not like Farage (maybe so), but he failed to meet their banking criteria – and got rid of him as a client.
So there is nothing for him to complain about.
They must have liked him at some point, to have accepted him as a customer in the first place.
I am trying not to take sides in this. Plainly the bank acted poorly, but they aren't just any old bank: although I agree that you shouldn't discriminate against people because of their viers, well, Coutts are a pretty discriminating outfit to start with, and if they decided they were finally fed up with Mr Farage, a high-profile and controversial figure, while I don't condone it I can understand it.
I'd be more worried about Joe Bloggs having their account closed for no reason by a High Street bank.
Question Author
Trying to make the argument supporting Farage, claiming that Coutts operates others’ accounts that do not meet their financial requirements – is like an accused in court stating that their defence is that others have committed the same crime, but have not been prosecuted.
I wonder if NJ would acquit on that basis?
Question Author
As you all know, I’m wrong about Farage being debanked because he was too poor to hold an account with Coutts.

Given that I’m wrong; had NatWest’s management done what I said in my post at 13:12 (telling Farage he was too poor, and an idiot to boot), what would he or anyone else done about it?
//I wonder if NJ would acquit on that basis?//

The question does not arise because - no matter how many times you and Ms Coppola repeat it - that's not what they did.

There is no point in debating the issue because your only response is that you (and now Ms Coppola) have said it, so it must be true. All you do to defend that argument is to cherry pick whatever evidence you can find that supports your view and largely ignore anything that doesn't.
//...had NatWest’s management done what I said in my post at 13:12 (telling Farage he was too poor, and an idiot to boot), what would he or anyone else done about it?//

The same as he already done, I imagine. That is, to discover just what information they held on him, why they had gathered it and what they did with it. Then no doubt he - and everybody else except you and Ms Coppola - would have drawn the same conclusions.
Question Author
Indeed it’s not what they did – but had they done that, that would have been the end of it rather than leaking to the BBC.

So we are now beginning to get to the truth – that Hymie is correct, Farage was too poor to hold an account with Coutts.
