israel is reported to have opened fire on a crowd of palestinians trying to get food resulting in hundreds of injuries and deaths
the IDF initially claimed that all the deaths were due to a stampede but has since changed their story to say that they used tanks to fire "warning shots" after videos on social media appear to show israeli tanks targeting the crowd...
eyewitnesses say that the IDF simply fired on them
why do reports like this seem to follow the IDF whereever it goes? why doesn't the west do anything about it?

It doesn't want to, but it has tobecause it is being continually attacked by those dedicated to annihilate it and it's people"
of course this rather overlooks the fact that israel invaded and occupied gaza in 1967 and has committed horrifying abuses against those it occupies since long before hamas ever showed up... israel also reacts with violence against peaceful protest as in this recent example:

if you occupy a territory by force, brutalise the population and forbid peaceful resistance against these things then what is left? it's either violent resistance or submission.
they were still under occupation on october 6th tora... the blockade was still in place and gazans were forbidden from leaving... israeli authorities brutalised them as they did during the peaceful border protests and israel also went to quite some effort to prop up hamas who did not permit further elections.
Untitled, not only does your wikipedia link not work, neither does your knowledge of history.
The Jewish leadership accepted the UN Partition Plan of 1947, but Jordan who contolled the West Bank & Egypt who controlled Gaza refused to accept it and launched a war of annihilation with 'the overt aim of destroying the newly formed state and murdering as many Jews as possible'
The Palestinians could have had a state between 1948 and 1967 had Egypt and Jordan wanted to create one.
There really is no such a place as Palestine to 'free' there is just Israel, which comprises of Israel (central) and the West Bank and Gaza.
the jewish leadership accepted the 1947 plan because it was massively skewed in their favour... they effectively terrorised the british administration into giving in (they killed hundreds of british servicemen don't forget)... they then ethnically cleansed the territory that had been granted to them and drove out the palestinians by force committing multiple massacres
israel conquered gaza (and other territories of course) in 1967... since then it has continued to brutalise the population hideously and did so long before hamas turned up
the wikipedia link which you conveniently "cannot get to work" describes months of peaceful border protests which took place in gaza in 2018/19... the israelis responded by opening fire and killing hundreds of peaceful demonstrators
when you make peaceful protest impossible then violent resistance becomes inevitable... with tragic consequences
israel has always been quite happy to exploit palestinian labour for cheap much as most colonial regimes do. it doesn't mean anything and it certainly doesn't magically grant palestinians civil rights or absolve israel of horrifying human rights abuses...
"Yes or no,Untitled.Did the Palestinian terrorists start this latest blood-fest on 7th October,2023?Yes or no?"
the latest one yes. the root cause is israeli occupation.
i have no love of hamas and i have not written a single word in their defense... hamas are not the only group to take up the palestinian cause but they are certainly among the worst and least helpful.
nothing that hamas did on october 7th justifies opening fire on the very civilians you are responsible for starving... nothing at all. every innocent person murdered by the israelis just means more recruits for hamas out looking for revenge...
Untitled, it doesn't seem to matter what anyone writes as it seems to me anyway that you have a hatred for the Jews and a love of Palestinians. It can't be a dislike of Israel as the best part of 2 million Palestinians live in Israel and are Israelis. You only seem to find fault in anything that the Jews do. Am I right or not.
you are not right. i do not hate jews and am perfectly capable of distinguishing between jews and israel, which i perceive as an aggressively colonialist country. many jews in the west actually find the things that israel does in their name reprehensible... there were protestors over this massacre even in Tel Aviv. not all jews are zionists.
i do not "love" palestinians either and i do not subscribe to the view that palestinians can do no wrong... i consider hamas to be every bit as evil as the israeli government. but i do think that the palestinians are the wronged party and i object to my government (UK) sponsoring and supplying this horrible slaughter in my name!!
