Could this common sense approach be the answer to what must be one of the biggest infringements of a person's civil liberties?
I am not a smoker, may I add?.

Unlike many substances tobbacco is not illegal and I defend my right to smoke. However with the aggressive anti-smoking lobbyists making me feel like a criminal I nowadays couldn't be arsed to go to a pub and be segregated into one room. I also understand non-smokers wanting a smoke free environment so wouldn't like to spoil their sanctimonious enjoyment.
We just came back from a weekend in Germany where it hasnt been outlawed. My husband who smokes was in his element. We went into a pub to watch a footie game -it was in the Turkish Qtr (relevent due to the strength of the cigs and the bongs they were using) and when we got outside I literally projectile vomitted
oops -too quick there
anyway it was due entirely to the cig smoke as my husband was even struggling.I am an ex smoker -but you have to remember that if you dont smoke you arent surrounded by smoke nowadays -even OH smokes outside the house as he doesnt like the stale smell-so it was alien to my system.
Interesting how it does affect you -o and it wasnt booze I can assure you.
