Good evening everyone and welcome once again to our club.

There will be a raffle tonight as usual, so any donations will be gratefully received.
So far we have:

3 bath cubes
a pair of bedsocks (hand knitted)
a tin of Zubes
and half a clothes rope

We are privileged this evening to be welcoming a guest speaker whose talk is entitled:

“Garden Gnomes, what do they do with all the fish ?”

Good evening everyone, I've left a lemon and lime cake on the side board, please help yourselves.

For the raffle I've brought with me the cuckoo clock I won last month, sorry if it was yours, but it really has cucked its goose with me; and a couple of packets of jelly.

I hope I haven't missed the guest speaker. (Is there likley to be a slide show? - I shall need my other glasses if so.)

We're not entirely sure about he speaker...he may be talking to teh gnomes as we speak.

Alexanderd , which gnomes was he talking to ? The sleeping ones (hope not, they get quite irritated if you waken them. Go even redder.) the fishing ones or the toadstool sitting ones ?

I don't think we're in a position to judge Steve, since we don't know what they do with the fish. After all they could be putting them back, I think I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now
