Good evening every one, sorry to be a little late in opening up, but Garfield the handyman had changed the code on the Portcullis and failed to tell me the new one - in truth I think he was distracted by the new fangled tellyvisual box he now has in his lean to at the side of the old stables.
Firstly absences :
MyLud and Lady are still in the land of large dentures.
TTFN is resting/rusting in rural climes (may pop by if the compost has kept the generator going)
Alexanderd is off to a speech at the dolls hospital or something along those lines.
This weeks guest Tailcock is the Rhodfryx a touch Welsh and a bit camp, very fresh and a perfect companion to my Lamb Tagine which bubbles on the Aga, To go with this there are warm flatbreads and a vegetable Pilaf.
For those requiring a lighter bite, there are the usual tasty nibbles as well as the best wines I could sneak out of the cellar. Please ask the Butler if you need refills or any other assistance (within the bounds of decency of course).
For the rufflet I have :
Book of Birds of Eastern Europe
A 10 shilling note
Pine Loo rim block refill
bag of green wine gums
So settle in and get snug.

The AB Christus Resurrection - an Expression of Support to the 2011 Proms
& Liszt who features tonight in Part 1 (though it is the 1st Piano Concerto).
(adapted by the Castle Bard).
Open Castle doors, last trumpet sounding,
Mamya’s woodwinds’ lonely birdsong cry.
Alba Strings at Mad Club twilight, Jogger bows descending,
as the AB world prepares to die.
Lie-In’s Roars across the wasteland,
Lady Alex’s pilgrims on the final day.
Her Baton raised as if in judgement,
sweeping life, tailcocks and snacks away.
Broken glasses and broken temple,
Vallaw of terror in the Ed’s wilderness.
AB Good and evil weighed and measured,
darkness of the Hall’s khazi waiting to confess.
Now the give-up sun and polar moon are equal,
now the petal void is bright with Suezy stars.
Nonna’s Cymbals crashing, AB souls believing,
boozy salvation in the closing bars.
All is finished, all Boxtopped, all beginning,
a ttfn silence fills the crowded hall.
Alexandered’s Baton lowered, AB hands applauding,
saved at last, rsvp-ed, from mankind’s fall.

My cousin Miss Giving sends her regards to the butler (I won't pass on what she told me although it makes me see him in a different light). The Tagine was excellent Matron, will forgoe a dessert as i would like to try those interesting looking nibbles. Will have another tailcock just to keep me going. Stop Press! Exciting news!! if I had had four more numbers and the bonus ball I would have won the lottery
