Once more I step into the breech, as her Ladyship is entertaining the Dowager aunt. I feel after the strenuous and brain testing evening of the AB quiz (who won again, do remind me!) We will not have a guest speaker as such, rather any member with an interesting hobby or topic, may give us a small speech.

Later there will be some dancing on the terrace, however due to the age and delicate nature of some members there will be little in the way of Disco or Rock (unless requested) but music of a more sedate and maybe a little smoochy in tempo.

For the raffle, I donate

So settle in and make yourselves comfy, Tailcocks and nibbles are in the long hall on the buffet sideboard.

I have left two bunches of flowers in the downstairs outer, upper lounge for you and Ena Mamy. Managed to get them out of the park unseen and have left them in two bowls with handles on marked his and hers. There was already some water in them so they should be ok

i heard it was a fix.. for the ruffle. one blind mouse.............a half eaten lamb.......an ally bally basket (with a hole in the bottom )...................a wee spider (dead)...................a vinegar and brown paper pizza (cold) .................a pail (with a hole ) and a wee willie winkie.

i would dearly like to attend but have been called out on an emergency medical thing - the technical term is 'bleeped' - so will have to give it a miss until later perhaps. hope you all enjoy the dancing and general jubilation at ttfn's really good news and the slightly late birthday celebrations for 'someone who shall be nameless's birthday, namely mamya.
could only find a tape measure with the last bit missing for the raffle, and a model of 'the beagle' made from page 3 in origami or some such.
