The Club is now Open

Welcome one and all to our club.

As it is the night of the big moon, members are requested to take great care .

Throat pastilles have been made available in the smaller scullery for those who may have need of them.

No doubt the usual drinks and nibbles will materialise along with our dear Matron.

Tonight's raffle prizes include:

An egg slicer (out of it's box, but probably unused)
Five small white buttons (four holes in each )
A box of frogs. (In honour of the big moon)

The colour of tonight's winning ticket is TBA.

There was an unpleasant incident about a year ago, Ladyalex, when I returned from the club late and rather the worse for drink. I didnt want to mention it as I think I found your private hoard of christmas port. I am now out on my best behaviour. Please dont offer me anything over 5 percent proof.......

What have you put in these pasties ladyalex? I notice there is plenty of onions and curry powder which is usually used to disguise tastes. Has your cook been buying the meat from that chap outside with the white van? No name no pack drill, he calls himself.

You'll have to ask Matron about the pasties, Starbucky....she has total control of the catering arrangements...but we have seen the white van around quite a bit lately.

Many happy returns of yesterday, Suezy. Hope you had a good one.
Some of us clean cupboards and some of us park in a way to annoy me, but that's Wigan for you.

Question Author
