Where can I buy a pan like this
Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation
without ,what to me ,is a hefty price tag for something that will only be used occasionally.Mr S has a fancy for toad in the hole and I'm finding it increasingly difficult to juggle pans in and out of ovens which contain hot fat.

lol shaney, there must be something in this wind...I wish I had some jelly babies so I could bite all the heads off :)
Just back from coffee, walk and then lunch with Mr N, very nice it was too. Warm outside but freezing indoors. Am in bed with thermal socks and a cape on!

I am very fussy about fabric conditioners, I like a nice smell and not too clingy or stifling, I also add it to my mop bucket so house smells nice!
goodness, so netibiza was nearly netlatgalespriekšpilsēta?

I have decided not to go out today after all, as it's chilly and the wind's getting up again. I don't know why I have silly ideas like that in the first place.
I hope that's not bad language Jno! I've no idea what you're on about. Anyway I'm just depressed and fed up. B****y gales! So I'll see yer later!
I know Jude, I'm thoroughly peed off listening to it howl down the chimney & everything bumping & rattling. Is there a collective noun for grumpies?....crabble? Crankle?
Beautiful sunset here and a bit chilly, so have had a hot bath.

Earlier our friends came round (he of the altzheimers) and was really lovley to see them, she chatted 10 to the dozen cos she gets lonely, he bless him tried to say things which made absolutely no sense to any of us, but I was willing to nod and agree with him, but she kept chattering. Was hard work in the end. Mr N was relieved to pop into the kitchen and make tea and coffee. They've gone now and we are invited to drop round any time, so I hope we do make the effort.
A depressed jude - should be a law against it!!
Ooh, Jude Law...now he'd cheer me up, one of my favourite men.
you are good friends to your friend Neti, its very hard for the spouse of someone with alzheimers to find "normal" things they can do together. not so windy here today for a change, but i do sympathise, it gets very difficult to live your life constantly by the weather.
we went to my friend down the road for coffee today, always a pleasure, and then went and bought loads of goodies in marks and waitrose.
oight oight all, wishing you better health and weather.
Oight oight all. Still feeling like I did earlier. Can't think of a collective name Robi.
Now I'm more depressed. They've found the body of the student who's been missing for 3 weeks in the River Derwent. How sad is that.
See you tomorrer.

That's sad Jude ,sad for your friends too Neti and here's me moaning I'm a bit under the weather and in a grump today.
I 'll snap out of it tomorrow .I get the odd grumpy day .
I'm going to buy some new best dinner plates tomorrow .That'll cheer me up. Ours have had it ,the glaze is crazed but they are over 40 years old and the last knockings of the dinner service my Mum bought us a wedding present .
The collective noun for grumpies is a bunch of biddie bellyachers :)
Oight Oight ..another day tomorrow.
Morning all...dull and drizzly as per usual. Not sure how I feel today, foggy headed and befuddled just about covers it I think.
I could do with some new crockery, but some of it is so heavy and the dinner plates are huge. What happened to the 70's sizes? I suppose they're blaming metric sized machinery and people with eyes bigger than their aching bellies.

I've really got to find someone who'll look at/fix my tv aeriel and won't rip me off...I can hardly stand over him to see what he's up to.

Morning all
So so weather here .Dry and breezy ,bit of watery sun .Hope you're all Ok.
I may toddle along to Wilkinsons later. They've got some cheap and cheerful plates .
It's a pain trying to find someone for jobs like that Robinia .You could always watch him through your binoculars :)

awake till after 4, eventually took one of my emergencies-only sleeping pill as I have to be at the dentist by 1, just for a checkup which will reveal nothing I hope... anyway that knocked me out for 6 hours and I woke up to find a note saying OH has gone to prune Andrew Sachs's trees. So there's one brush with glory I slept through :-(
Lol shaney, I've got someone coming today, they'll ring half an hour beforehand apparently, free estimate, no obligation. Unfortunately my bino's are broken, they're mono's now so I'll have to adopt my 'don't mess with me' manner.
Will you be plate spinning with your old ones....or smashing them Greek stylie? I've always fancied doing that :)

Hope the dentist appt goes well jno, your OH could have done the aerial for me if I'd thought about it.
good day sunshines!!!

Sorry have clocked in earlier, was up and out this am rather early. Had to go to bank for hija, then kicked up an almighty stink in the leccy shop as my other mobile is still away being mended since Jan 7th and they say yet another month, no way, am denouncing them tomorrow in Ibiza (using my pensioners card of course! for the bus) went to two shops to buy cous couse, none, met friends for coffee, one of whom was giving away a huge bag of books, I so took them, we love reading, then I found a shop with cous cous, bought another pair of sunglasses as I have mislaid my best one, went to Town Hall to get yet another free shopping bag (like the one I gave to you jude) no have tog et them in Ibiza now, so will tomorrow. Have prepared the veg for cous cous, just waiting for the schools to shut so can go up to the rubbish and not get entangled in all the traffic, it may of course be half term here but not risking it.
Edit sorry *HAVE NOT CLOCKED IN*
well I was dizzy before I read your post neti...now I'm spinning.

haha, I'll look very alluring jno...especially with red bleary eyes.

I'm just getting the spare room ready for Neti for her next visit to Blighty.
It looks quite nice .
The vacuum cleaner and mop bucket make a nice feature against one wall and the box of dusters looks very smart on the dressing table . I'm all stocked up with washing powder and pegs.
I'm having the High St cordoned off so she can whizz up and down :)
