I was the same as child too Neti I was never tidy and things have not improved .My Mum used to get me all dressed up to go and visit various aunts or what have you and I always arrived looking like something the cat dragged in .I can spend ages getting myself togged up only for it all to go haywire five minutes before I leave or for some disaster to befall me on the way. to wherever I am going .Other people always seem so cool calm and collected with not a chipped nail to be seen ..but not me !

Crikey... I have just watched the news and all that flooding .It's awful .Poor devils .I really do sympathise after what we had here last year .
I hope their insurance companies are more sympathetic than mine were ! Some people here are still in temporary accomodation after nearly a year.
Well I am off to bed . I need my strength to try and get my hair and face into some sort of order for tomorrow !!..

Oh I love those songs - takes me back to when I was young and carefree, and good-looking. Oh happy days!!!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0D-boeOCG0 -this is my most favourtire song of all time, it just seems to explain what I was (or wasn't) in the 60's! pity it's not a vid of the great man himself!
ooh, my origin is much more exotic than that, Vinny... used to have a palm tree by my front door till it fell over in a high wind. It was supposed to produce bananas but it never did. As for the Pimms, I am becoming more conservative in my old age so now it's only safety pimms.

Dolly, that's been happening to me too... long beautifully written answers hand engraved by monks with goose quills and then AB just freezes when I try to post...

Morning all and I know you're not my Dad either Vinny but happy father's day just the same. Have a good one. I'm off out this afto to see another cousin I met for the first time in 30 years last year. He lives in Canterbury but is coming up to the Peak District for a holiday again. He's staying at a beautifully adapted farm house in Ashbourne. Hope you are all alright. Sorry you are feeling a bit low Robi . At the mo, if I need a 'pennorth of God help me' I play my CDs. Just now it's The Traveling Wilburys re-release CDs. It's brilliant. I've bought copies for one of my son's and my gardener cos they both like them very much. Well must get cracking. Have a good rest of the day......Bye for now :o)
Forgot to say thanks for advice on Blue Tooth. I'm still trying. ' Very' as my son would say!! lol
