I can understand homosexuality, I can understand trans-gender, but I simply cannot understand why heterosexual men indulge in cross-dressing. Any thoughts that may enlighten me will be welcome.
When I posted that, Naomi, I'd made the error of coming to this post before the other one so I didn't see your message there.
All the same, I've already explained my reasons, as best I can. It just feels right, and natural. As to my sexuality, that's my own affair and I don't intend to discuss it here.
I used to know a barman at a well known pub Nr Exeter, he always dressed as a woman but also had a heavy beard and moustache and used the ladies toilets. He was a very pleasant guy
"No I am not. Are you saying that some men who claim to be heterosexual are, in fact, not?"
General trends for talking about identify politics seems to be heading for a more fluid, less binary definition of gender. So maybe it's a bit of a flawed question?
\\\why heterosexual men indulge in cross-dressing.
Because they, for a multitude of reasons cannot develop a sexual relation with a woman, so the best alternative which doesn't need physical contact with a woman is to put on women's clothes...........next best thing.
I don't think they do it to attract men necessarily, just a bit of fantasy play..a friend of my ex used to do it and he was a respectable family man in a very senior post..with his wife's knowledge...play acting
Look, if you were truly herterosexual ( you fancied women) why would you put on women's clothes to attract men.....difficult to understand eh? and that was the question of the OP.
This business pf men being 40% htero 60%homo or 70%...you get the picture is b,llsh1t.
