I believe in a kind and loving God, the Creator of all there is.
The God of the Bible.
Deny Him at your peril.
In the O/T Gods' actions are questioned by todays atheists, but God built a nation using human strengths and weaknesses. The Jews. An amazing people with an amazing history, foretold in scripture.
Using human intervention in His nation building, God allowed ethnic cleansing and genocide, and indeed ordered it.
Should we judge God for this? Or should we trust in His higher majestic wisdom, as we ask our children to trust in us?

Whickerman, I asked that same question about a year ago and got no worthwhile reply.
If, I asked, this God chappie invented the universe about 12,000,000,000 years ago what caused him to be demoted to the role of a minor god of southern Israel (JWYH), just one of several gods worshipped by the Jews, until, a mere 3000 years ago, he was promoted to be 'God' when the Jews decided to become monotheistic?

I think the only answer I got was that the universe is only 6000 years old!

So many points to answer. Bear with me.
Islam is a paodophile religion as it endorses it. A paodophile in Islam is not going against his religion, whereas a priest doing the same is a criminal who is flouting the tenets of the church.
Prophecy - The Jews - the people are back in the land, and despite being attacked by five armies in 1948, they are still there. Israel has no natural resources other than the brains of its people and Gods' blessing, yet compare it to Saudi Arabia - nuff said!
Finally, for the moment, my critics set themselves up as superior in morals than the creator of morals. How can this be? The created calling the Creator stiff. Can't you accept that you lack understanding, because quite simply you are created beings?
P.S . The venom is also indicative of the Bibles correctness, it foretold such reactions. Why doesn't Santa and the tooth fairy, who are almost perrennial on here, attract the same venom as does our Saviour?

As far as hating Islam is concerned, yes, I do hate its evil teachings.
When was the last time you saw photographs of genuine Christians staring out of your newspaper having been arrested for plotting to blow somebody up?

Just as you don't believe that fundamentalists are Christian, the vast majority of Muslims (there are over one billion of them you know) do not believe that suicide bombers are Muslim.

There are different types of Christians just as there are different types of Muslims.

Good Morning Theland, something here doesn't quite gel. You bang on about the 'amazing' Jews, but don't you, as a Christian, think they've let God down rather badly? He sent his son, whom you accept (on pain of eternal damnation if you don't), but the Jews, to whom that son was specifically sent, deny him, and hence by the Christian creed, are clearly eternally damned. However, God (according to you) is still batting on their side. It makes no sense unless he told the Jews, 'Oh never mind, you're still my favourites, and if you don't want to go along with the Jesus story, that's ok - I'll just make it compulsory for everyone else' What is he up to?

Gromit - I do not hate people - I hate systems like communism, islam and Roam Catholicism. My father was RC and naturally I loved him, but I hate the evil teachings of these institutions.
