I believe all information originates in a mind.
If you disagree with this, any examples?

There is no "seat" of knowledge, khandro. The truth is the truth, whether we have learnt it or not. Facts and reality don't only exist from a human perspective.
Is this losing posts now?
I have posted, but they are just disappearing. Khandro, you are talking rubbish.
"vulcan ; //Trees were physically growing long before minds were around,//
From where does that assertion come?"

From Thelands Bible, the garden of Eden had trees growing and it was formed before Adam & Eve. Are you saying the Bible is wrong?
So is theland disagreeing. He changed his mind totally within 15 minutes.
The mind is a prerequisite for contemplating what a mind is, where it resides, how it works and how it came to be, yet assuming one has a mind is no guarantee of success.
Of course not, mibs. All minds are different
Yes they are pix. Some attempt to correlate to reality . . . some don't.
// Stars form, consume hydrogen and die.
This process has continued for billions of years with no 'information' about the how or why it happened. //

God clearly put into Moses mind the idea that he [God] created the Stars in a single day. You are clearly saying that God is a liar, based merely on new fangled observation, other people’s wisdom and rejection of Gods clever magic.
If God existed, he was a liar.
Is Lux Fiat an Italian car manufacturerer or a character in a Superman film?
A light bulb, I think ;-)
v_e, fiat lux as you well know, means 'let there be light', but I'm finding little of it on this thread, so I'm going to make 2.5 kilos of red mirabelle jam - a much more satisfactory & productive way to spend the morning!
And, having asked a question and received an answer, away goes Khandro - again.

I'm still not sure what point Theland is making.
It’s some sort of obtuse way for him to conclude, through quasi scientific garbage, that there’s a creator. That’s why he put ‘a’ mind.

Being rather less obtuse would be handy. He makes no 'case' for his 'case'.
There is no case.
Apparently not. Everything Theland posts in this section these days amounts to ‘I don’t know how it happened so God must have dunnit’. That’s it.

N, I think you have a doppelgänger. ;-)
