Since Naomi will not give me the ****ing key I have decided to follow Jesus and be a Christian just like Theland. I am ashamed of my past history here so I'm going to devote the time I used to spend on ab to reading the Bible. No question really because I no longer care about what people think. I'll get all my answers from God from now on thank you.

China, on second thoughts, shall we not bother? I'm not well acquainted with most of the people you've mentioned, although one or two seem to be very nice .
Incidentally, from my limited experience, Gromit's links usually lead us to massaged Government statistics, or some such similar nonsense - and what use are they - or the parrot fashion repetition of anything that seems to fit the bill of a particular personal grinding axe? There's no real knowledge or intelligence in that. Mibs links beat Gromit's by miles - (Mibs, avert your eyes now for fear of spoiling your perfect complexion) - as does his intellect. There is absolutely no comparison.

And China, I must be one of those with that nomadic approach, because I really like being alone (although if I'm at a party, I'm the life and soul - I simply love dancing!!). Told you. I'm odd! My phone rings constantly, demanding attention, but AB is a useful channel, since here we can talk to people whenever we feel like it - and if we don't feel like it, we don't have to do it.

I'd have to disagree with you regarding Gromit's links and his intelligence. He will often post a link to a story in News to give balance or credence to a post and a lot of the time what he does is show evidence to an argument. Whether he believes it or not is a whole other matter. If there was a pub quiz on british politics (and possibly cheese) I would have Gromit on my team every time. Trust me, he's a very a smart person, he just has a fairly biting sense of humour and he's not terribly tolerent of some of the wassocks in News, (much like me except I'm not terribly tolerent in general). Plus when I got put in the dungeon (again) he designed a t-shirt for my freedom campaigne.

Naomi, �Loner�? Always trying to pin me down to some one word attribute, aren�t you? Intelligent? Perhaps, relatively speaking, although the contrast pales in comparison to present company. (Now that was just plain brilliant . . . imho!) The closest you�ve come by my recollection is enigmatic . . . yet even that begs qualification.

An agreement on what constitutes a basic knowledge and understanding of the fundamental nature of reality is a prerequisite to carrying on a meaningful conversation with me and few people find joy in such endeavors (and perhaps fewer still believe such is possible). My inability to satisfy this essential need pretty much confines me to being a lonely loner. Tragic? It may well appear so, but my mind leaves me no other alternative than to be who and what I am and so I have learned to embrace the reality of my life and through acceptance have experienced a joy few would comprehend. When I am able to relate to someone else and make a connection it has a quality I would not exchange for anything else. I know You know what I�m talking about . . . even if this failed to explain it.
China, Ahhh .... the dungeon. I've seen people say they've been put in the dungeon, and I've seen others calling for their release, but what exactly does being put in the dungeon mean? I know some people are banned and come back with a different name, but as far as I know, you've never changed your name, so I don't think you could have been banned. That question probably sounds pretty thick to those in the know - but I really don't know.

China, I will not contest Gromit's superiority with "news" and "cheese" links, nevertheless, would you provide some evidence? None incites ones curiousity more than 'the competition'. However we seem to have carved out rarely intersecting niches in ab-land. The name is familiar but I can't recollect the face.
And I would likewise recommend nearly anyone other than me for a pub quiz partner. The realm of my knowledge is actually very focused and concentrated towards universals rather than a wide range of specifics.

It's also Naomi my alternative name as I do get banned every so often. I like to think it's because of overposting but I also hold the record for possibly the most lewd thread on here which went to well over a thousand answers which the then nice AB Ed banned for me after I asked her to! Rarely intersecting... Yes quite possibly, I can also be found in occasionally in animals (there's no way that sentance will ever sound right) as I know an abnormal amount about certain bugs, the book section (I read a lot), CB (I'm a massochist... No really, some of the people are lovely and the banter can be fun), Music (Kempie has usually answered by the time I get in there) and News (not so much lately as I've lost my soapbox). I do like Science as you know but I generally go in there with questions rather than answers.
OK, I must admit, this / one would be hard to beat. Three wishes come immediately to mind . . . and they're all the same!
