Mods don't see reports. Unless a passing mod spots the offending post it will remain there until the Eds start work tomorrow.

Well, yes, but the Eds work 24/7 - just a 5 day week like most people - so if weekend spam isn't spotted by a mod, it will stay there until Monday when the Eds are on. Same with reporting spam in the evenings.

Sqad, she is saying that mods don't see reports so unless the happen to be logged in to AB and see the spam themselves they don't know it's there.
They do remove spam posts when they see it, even if there is no ed on duty

Mods can delete only if they see or someone tells them about a post or thread.

Any reports made by others are acted upon only by the EDs.

Well, not really, sqad.

When a mod removes a post - which they can do at will with any post - they send a report to the Eds to tell them why they removed it.

If WE ... you and me and all the rest ... 'report' a post, that report goes directly to the Eds and the mods don't see those. If the Eds deem our 'reported' posts unfit they will remove them.
