when I click on a photo in My Pictures it insists on opening in Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 (I didn't even know I had this but I assume it came with Photoshop Elements 3). I'm given the option of opening in Windows Picture Viewer, which I want (quicker and less 'noisy' to look at), but have to do it every time. Where can I change the default to Picture Viewer? I've got Windows XP.

Isn't The Full Monty a brilliant film?

I've bought most of my presents off the internet but I don't like buying clothes that way, I have to try them on.

Friend is in the audience at the Strictly final praying for Abbey to win as Susanna once charged in front of her at a party to speak to the man that friend was speaking to. Needless to say it was the Vanity Fair post-Oscars party, of course, and friend is therefore highly anti-Susanna.
Agree then jno, I will vote for Abbey or one of the others, not Susanna.

I amaz myself with my bitlliance. Ever since we've had the new sky box (yonks) titles and footy scores are half missing, and no matter what we do with the tv screen it doesn't change, so I have googled and now changed the sky box sttings, and lo and behold, it is all working properly yay!!!
I've not found this year to be very exciting but I watch it for the glitz and glamour. I'd like to see Abbey to win too, I'm not a fan of Susanna. Last year's winners, Flavia and Louis were my all time favourites.
Yes Abbey should win. She dances beautifully.
Great game for The Rams they won and they scored all the goals even though the final score was 3 - 1! I walked there but decided to get the bus back and ended up sitting on the bus for 3/4 of an hour when normally it takes about 15 minutes. Didn't mind really I had some coffee left in my flask so finished that off on the way.
Going to see the sis who lives for the day tomorrow and niece and great nieces in the afternoon. I love Christmas!
Off to wash pots now before the dancing result comes on.
Oight oight all. Have a good Sunday.

oh, isn't that nice, Jude, they took pity on their opponents and scored one for them too? Very gentlemanly.
Neti, you are as ever bitilliant. ha ha.

My vote is for Sophie.

Didn't think any of the show dances were a patch on Louis and Flavia's or James and Denise's
bitillant? hope that's means something nice.,
OMG!! Tis I who invented the word, even more bitlliant then!!!

I have searched the screen for a glimpse of friend jumping for joy and pulling faces at Susanna, but no luck. I am sure she is happy with the result, though.
Yes, I was happy with the result too. Ajax seems like a nice guy, he's only 23!

I googled 'bitlliant' and it said 'You mean brilliant...you must be drunk, tut'
Ajax?! Bloomin predictive text...Aljaz!
lol at you all...sleeping in bed tonight, wind has died away and dogs are snoring...oight oight all.
have you all bookmarked Norad tracks Santa?
Good morning all. A bit damp outside but at least not raining, we are off to San Antonio to Lidl's to get prawns and lobsters and all manner of goodies! Wen I say we are off, I don't mean at this very moment, I am still ensconced in my bed, but eventually.

Hope you all passed a peaceful night.
I'm pleased that Abbey won, shame about Sophie though.
so much for the good night's sleep, huge gust of wind and burst of torrential rain scared the dogs at 5am so we got up, went downstair and put the telly on. Once things had calmed down, we had tea and toast very early. Dogs and weather have settled now.
Out later to shop
Morning all
Lovely sunny day ,bit of wild windy night again though .Looks as if we have this stormy weather for a few more days yet .Hope you're feeling bitillant this morning !
My computer staged a spectacular strop yesterday and slowed to snails pace .
I bought nothing from M&S in the end as I couldn't be bothered to wait for the pages to load .But it's whizzing along again this morning.
I think it's Virgin at fault .
Well I must don my tin hat and venture to Morrisons for some last minute things .Over and out for now .

Overnight guests are fed, watered and gone. Derelict furniture taken to the tip, I mean reecycling centre. Another friend has dropped in for coffee. Going out for late lunch with yet another friend at 2.

Sunny again (I can't drive as I have no ordinary sunglasses any more, just prescription ones I no longer need; I will have to buy somemore for the first time in 20 years.) But it is quite nippy outside as the nation prepares for yet another white Christmas.

We did a big shop in Lidl, such lovely bread, toffees, got my prawns and lobster and smoked salmon, it's so cheap! Then I decided not to go out for lunch but to start on food we had just bought, oh yummy. Lovely gherkins and ham et all.
I like Lidl .We shop there quite a bit but it is a bus ride. Not too far from the bus stops though so not much lugging .They have things Mr S likes .Those disgusting herrings in cream for one thing !
Morrisons wasn't too bad actually although the dates on some things were short and you had to rifle at the back of the shelves .Now having a welcome cuppa and a sit down .
Herrings in cream? thank heavens we didn't see any! It is across the other side of the island for us, no chance of evr going if one hasn't got a lift, no buses go near! There were bags of mixed flavoured toffees, and mixed choccy bars, and lovely sliced sweet gherkin, oh so much, I was in paradise. We actually got some fresh crusty bread, Mr N found it and shouted across the store, "Can your teeth mange this?" Don't think there were many people there who spoke English!! We don't get real crusty bread here so it was indeed a find. Have been testing the toffees and the choccy bars, yum!
Neti.......blood sugar!
