when I click on a photo in My Pictures it insists on opening in Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 (I didn't even know I had this but I assume it came with Photoshop Elements 3). I'm given the option of opening in Windows Picture Viewer, which I want (quicker and less 'noisy' to look at), but have to do it every time. Where can I change the default to Picture Viewer? I've got Windows XP.

Morning all...Merry Christmas...thank you for the lovely emails, I've seen them now. (also been bombarded with notices of the sales starting ;o/)
Yes shaney, I've been watching the news and it's not all joy and laughter, many people are having a terrible time. It must be a nightmare, especially for anyone who's ill.

It's a calm, bright one so far here after a quiet night. Hardly anyone moving about, I think they all must have done their revelling at the weekend.

Not opened any pressies yet and the birds are waiting for their breakfast so whatever you're doing stay safe and have a lovely time xxx

just whizzing through.... yes, many people are missing a lot more than trains today, and Tonbridge, which is only a few miles from jno jnr, seems to be waist-deep in water.
To Robi, Shaney, Woofy, Neti, Jno not forgetting Lottie and Vinnie

good morning all. We were woken at 5.30 this morning by two big bangs and flashes over Southampton....and i mean huge ones. not sure what they were but of course the result was much panic. we calmed down after about an hour so i made tea and toast and then we slept on the settee till now. I hope it wasn't Santa being shot down by a ground to air missile.
As we haven't got a white Christmas you can all have one courtesy of Mr.S's home town .

That is beautiful thanks Shaney. Tipping down here although the wind has dropped. Mr N cooking the turkey dinner.
Beautiful shaney, I know the white stuff causes chaos but it makes it look like Christmas. I've bookmarked it to show sis ... just awaiting a horse drawn raft :)
Am stuffed. Dinner was excellent, washing up was awful, cos so wet couldn't use dishwasher cos outside and the floor is too wet.

Just lolling now.
Dinner is cooking we will eat around 6. We (briefly) had a white christmas today, a huge hailstorm!
Am having a quiet moment onmy own watched Call the Midwife, will join the family afterwards. Can't get used to hte messy house, no sooner do I wash and clean up than it gets messy again.

Hope you have all had a super day.
It's been lovely weather here, blue skies and wall to wall sunshine, shame the wild wet stuff is coming back. Had a lovely day at sister's, nephew's got the lurgy so I'm hoping he hasn't shared it. Tarquin & partner are engaged!
I'm off to camp outside matalan for their 3am(!) sale tomorrow, might spot a wedding hat....Haha.
Tut Robinia, one does not wear hats these days, one wears a fascinator or a flower. I have another two weddings coming up next year, either have to slim down to get into one of my older dresses or buy a new one!!!
Not in a million years, I'm fascinating enough.
oof, had a lovely day her with sis except some fool let off fireworks, i ask you can they not give it a rest? Robi, I could lend you my hat what I met the queen in but I put it out for the dustmen cos the mice got into it.
Oight oight my lovelies
Sounds as if you've all had a lovely day.It was lovely here weather wise .Cold but bright and sunny until it got dark .We had a nice dinner etc. Children have gone back to Norwich to hit the shops tomorrow .I'm sitting here having a quiet drinkie .Poor Mr S is cream crackered from dishwasher duty and has gone to bed .
Any offers on a two thousand piece Jan van Haasteren jigsaw .I'll still be doing it this time next Christmas :)
Oight Oight ,sleep toight .
Ooooh PS ..Congrats to the Tarquins .
Good morning, yes indeed congratulations to the Tarquins.

Just had to sweep outside and tidy up, dreadful mess after the storm yesterday, have never seen so much rain! Sunny and bright today. I'm itching to get back to normal now! It is so quiet here, never known it so quiet, even the neighbours all around made ne'er a peep.
Morning/a'noon...I'm pleased everyone had a happy safe day...it keeps going misty here and the forecast says wild and very windy again which probably accounts for my sinus headache.

Those JvH jigsaws look very intricate shaney...hope it's not the football one, I could imagine the murmurings, hahaha. Just in case you want one :)

I think my sister was as happy with her doll's house grandma (complete with cleaning kit, some I'd made) as with her proper pressies. It's the daft little things that please the most....apparently she (grandma that is, not sis) was found face down on the bathroom floor this morning, too much egg nog :)

Bro-in-law thinks she's creepy, haha...I think she's hilarious and she's wearing bloomers btw

I might buy one for myself, get a second hand dolls house and cobble together a mish-mash old stylie granny house...with an outside lav. :)
