need to renew my computer security and have used Kaspersky the last couple of years, no problems with it, and recommended by a friend who is a computer boffin. However i can't find one under about 25 quid on line, and tried once to download from the Barclays website as it was free but that proved a nightmare, so anyone know where can buy it cheaper than 25 quid. i have looked at Amazon, but seems about the same cost. i user moi, and one computer, for 2014.

if your just a home user ,google "free computer security" theres no need to pay for this
i'm using comodo security suite but theres lots more

Have you tried AVG in some cases it can be free. I used to have Kaspersky but had a lot of trouble with it a computer boffin friend recommended AVG. I think last years version is free it is worth a try

we use barclays free kaspersky Emmie for 2 years no probs

yes, open a Barclays account and register it for online banking. You can get free Kaspersky to protect the account . You only need put £1 in the account to open it.

I used to have Kaspersky & it was excellent however when it came to re-newal time a friend of mine who is well versed in I.T. Advised me to switch to Panda which I did & have never looked back.

Do bear in mind that the free ones are OK BUT you only get what you pay for.

i have a Barclays account, and tried in the past to download the free Kaspersky and it's never worked.

looked at my bank online, they do the free download for Kaspersky but 2013 not 2014, odd. I need to update this soonest, so will try and find a cheaper deal

I used to use kaspersky (which I had bought) but dumped it when they wanted to charge me for a renewal. B@stards!

Barclays website download only says 2013 which isn't much use.
