Just finished the dt gk crossword as couldn't print if off until Mr N put in a new ink cartridge.

Off out for a lunch, hopefully somewhere near a beach in the shade and I fancy eating sole meuniere!
that is very deeply scary.
Notepd is called stickies and is in dashboard (looks like a car mileometer and is black) if its not there click on the plus sign bottom left and scan along the row of icons till you see a yellow post it, click on it to add.
Now what's scary woofy? Bazza's face, my computer problem or sole meuniere? :o) I think Baz wins, he looks awful, silly man.

That sole looks lovely neti (I had to google to see what it was) nice & simple & would probably suit my grumbling insides...with a pile of new potatoes & petit pois lathered in lurpak of course :o)

Thanks for the puta info btw woofy but I can't find much at all on this. T likes everything neatly tucked out of sight, my desktop looks like a junkyard. He probably won't be long fixing mine, it's stay at home weather it's been piddling down all day...hope it is where you all are too...apart from neti, our resident dessicated follower of fashion, I think she's had her June allowance.

You are all speaking in tongues, what's scary, if it's Bazza then I agree.

What June allowance have I had??

No sole meuniere on the menu so just had grilled sole, with chips (yes I know) and a lovely fresh salad to start, a bottle of pink fizzy wine and a bottle of water, lovely jubley!
your rain allowance? If not, I have it here. Mizzling down, I got to see three gardens in a brief dry interval but now it has started again.
Yes rain neti...didn't you say it was cold and wet recently?
No mizzle or brief dry interludes here, just non stop steady to heavyish all day...hopefully the gardens and blackbirds have appreciated it.
oh dear, I see less canterbury bells, more canterbury bellyflops

What are you talking about Robi!
I know what you're on about Robi even if Neti doesn't :~) Well ~ what a garden watering day. Just spoken to my son in Spain and he says it's lovely there He's in Bellamadina. (is that right Neti) He comes home tomorrow. My grass is now turning green again, and everywhere smells fresh. I've had a lazy day with Sunday paper puzzles. Managed the skeleton in the Express today except for about 3 clues. I have a group of doves come most days and they have been all over my garden today because the wooden birdtable they used got blown over and has broken so now they come down under the new table expecting to get the seed dropped by the other birds on that. They're too big to sit on the feeders.

Hope all of you have had a peaceful and enjoyable Sunday.

I don't know what's on telly tonight. At the moment I'm listening to Alan Titchmathingy on BBC 2. H plays some lovely music. Nothing like you'd imagine I would like after hearing about my younger years.
Hope you pc gets sorted robi. I have Malwarebytes -Anti-malware and Spybot-search and destroy. I also have Rapport which sends a report on peersonal places where I sign on to such as my bank etc and I can check if it is correct. My computer man set them up for me and I update and scan about once a month. Only takes a short time.

Have a good night Biddyfriends. See yer later 'gater(s)
Evening folks
Hope you are all Ok. Miserable day here .Dull and drizzling but we need a every drop of rain we can get . I never thought I would be glad to see a bit rain :)
I think I need a kick up the backside really Woofy but will take your good advice and get myself some multi vits .I seem to be getting all sorts lately .Still coughing merrily but I expect the antibiotics will kick in soon .

Ooh that Skeleton Xword is a pain Jude .There was one clue today that made no sense whatsoever . Something about mark or something which I thought was grade .It was an anagram but all I could get to fit was Edgar .I gave up and when I checked on Brians site he had a note saying he wasn't happy with it .

Anyway talking about computers do any of you know how to get rid of that oh so annoying predictive text on Google .It drives me up the wall !
Have a nice evening all ..what's left of it :) .
apparently you can't switch off autocomplete

Hi Shaney I thought that Grade was ok. Grade meaning to Mark and manipulating Edgar to get it. The one I didn't understand was 19 Across - Canoe and 19 down being Calf. They were Brian's answers. I got Barge and Beef But the man/woman who compiles this puzzle is an enigma himself/ herself. ;~) You take care and get well soon. The antibiotics I had have worked well. I just hope the blood test is now ok.
hello all bit of a minging day here, very wet. Dh has gone and got a tum upset, the kind that comes with colicky pain and horrendous wind. I have had a touch myself but having worked in the NHS and been exposed to everything, my tum is made of sterner stuff.
Dogs are very excited, we had a real actual wild rabbit in the garden yesterday so they are practically living out there, despite the rain, carefully checking every leaf twig and inch of soil for a hidden bunny.
I am sat here watching Dr Who on iplayer.
Lol..Jno ..I've read ,learnt and inwardly digested all that :) Thank you .
However, I did find amongst all the gumf an url ( is that what they call it ?) from someone called BT creative and if I paste that into my address bar ,hey presto it turns it off ! It's a bit of faff each time I log on ( I've bookmarked it ) but it saves my sanity .I can't stand that predictive text .It annoys me for some reason .

I hope your tums settle down Woofy .Ha ha I can picture those two rooting around ..Shaney used to do that with frogs .He would search for ages to no avail :)
Been raining quite hard here now .Lovely fresh air .
Goodnight all.Sleep tight .
Just off to bed and came to say goodnight.

Jude, I lived briefly in Benalmadena (which I think you mean) in the early 70's, in an apartment with a friend. It was a very little fishing village at that time. I went back about 6 years ago and it had changed somewhat. I was 22/23 t the time and having the time of my life!! I moved on further down the coast.
It rained. Not only did it rain, it flooded our downstairs shower/laundry room and Mr LL had to go up on the roof whilst it pelted down.

Well hello there all of you!

Hope you are all feeling or getting better.

That predictive thing shaney is it where it finishes the search after you have typed in one word? I don't mind it as saves a lot of typing for me! I just wish the computer would correct my spelling without me having to do it!

Seems like a nice day here, so far. Lower eyelid has a huge hole in it and it's a bit sore, but hopefully it'll heal soon, tooth (or lack of is feeling better too)
Yers, I'm happy with predictive text - it does actually correct my spelling for me. If I ask it to search for netibizza, it fixes me with a withering look and says "Here are the results for netibiza - or did you seriously want me to look up netibizza like you asked?" My answer is sometimes Yes but mostly No.

Another drab June day here but I think my tooth socket is also healed, which means I can start to think about getting cyberteeth or something.
Question Author
Yes it does that jno, but I mean when I am on here and write jsut instead of just, which I am always doing!
Question Author
Shaney what have you done, my Google instant predictive has been turned off it says, bah humbug!!!
