Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

Morning all.
Mr N drove me to clinic to get mammogram results as have no energy. All's good apart from some benign modules and one thing which should be checked yearly. Deep joy. Mexico on Friday to get chest sorted. Then if all ok all be hopping and a bopping like a spring chicken. Staying at home for a couple of days to test up and potter.

Lovely day.Waiting for a man to cut down trees who was supposed to be here at 8am .I'll be cutting him down to size if he doesn't turn up.No reply to a phone call either .Tut.
That's good Neti.At least they're keeping an eye on you .I often wish my old friend Jeanie had gone for her mammograms when she reached 70 and they no longer sent for her.

I stopped mine Neti but I only missed the last one. I gave very serious consideration before I decided not to have it and based my decision on the following
1 A string of clear smears. My last iffy one was in my 20’s and that was because the slide was unreadable.
2 My widowed state...so no “activity”
3 since my 40’s every smear has been followed by an attack of thrush.
Last time I was at the docs, february before last, the nice GP raised the issue with me and asked if I wanted an appointment. I said no thanks and explained my reasons and he listened then said well that sounds fair enough, checked that I knew what to keep an eye out for and that was that.
My current plan is to go for mammograms for as long as I am invited and once I age out to review...

A'noon...don't know where I was yesterday but clearly I wasn't here :).
Another lovely day, shopping done, washing fading on the line.
I stopped having smears years ago, bad I know. I was in a really bad fibro flare up one time and the nurse said to leave it a while. I never went back. I do have mammos though and will probably ask to carry on going after my sell by date.
Poor Ozzy got an infection and they operated yesterday to remove the nail and reconstruct the nail bed. 14 stitches, oooooh. They moved quickly to avoid his broken bone becoming infected.
I've been watching Victoria, it's good although not totally accurate ... I wouldn't know, haha....I'm just enjoying it for what it is but I enjoyed the Tudors more.

No man turned up for trees. When I finally got hold of him he said the job was too small and not worth his while yet he had given us a price .He said he had a more lucrative job to do and wouldn't have the time to fit us in. What a (insert word of choice).
Anyway my brother is lending his chain saw and Picky said he'd come and saw them down and we'll get the garden waste carriers to take them away. I'd rather give him/them the money.
I was very annoyed and told said man his fortune.
Neti I've had no smear tests since it was all whipped out getting on for 30 years ago but I'll carry on with the mammograms.
Poor Ozzy .That sounds very painful .I hope it all heals up properly.
Night all.
