Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

. Morning all and every. These mornings I wake up with bites and its not Mr N. I have a anti mossie machine and with air con they don't bite so it must be ants or maybe a snake under the bed. Will sort it today.
Hope you are all OK.
Of to the Alhambra jno? If so wear plastic shoes as the gypsies fall over themselves to clean your shoes.

No woofy defo not fleas, cat is flea free and wears a flea collar. So room has been thoroughly cleaned, mattress sprayed and turned and sprayed, new mattress cover, all clean bedding and pillows all with clean protective slips and pillow cases. So will see tonight. Don't actually look like bites, more like hives.
Morning all...I haven't had a bacardi and coke since the seventies.
Bright, breezy and chilly, it seems today's rain has been cancelled so that's good. Yesterday was so dreary, had a bit of an energy dip so I spent most of it chatting on the phone. Yes neti, it's wearing feeling under the weather, hope you feel better soon.
My gardener seems to have fallen off the radar... tut ... and the grass is long and wet. Any volunteers? While you're here you can spend the night in the loft to catch 'the beast'. Something has been scratching again and I couldn't sleep for worrying about it. Clearly it/they hid or were out shopping when Tarquin went to look. I'll do a flask of tommy soup and some dairylea butties for you to take up there....it's posh 'ere.
Anyway I was looking for a distraction on youtube and discovered that The Mousehole Cat animated film is on there. I'm a big kid, I love it.
I used to watch The Proms but after 121 years one so tires of it. :)

Hello all
Lovely day ,bright and sunny and nowhere near as humid.
We've just put the new rug down in the dining area.I've never had a rug delivered on a Sunday before. They'll be delivering stuff in the middle of the night soon.
It's probably the just in case antibiotics that have made you feel rough Neti .Glad you feel better and hope everyone is Ok.

Robinia, something has been scratching behind the skirtingboardiin the living room for more than a year now. Quite loud sometimes. I have stopped up every gap in the inside and outside walls. All I can think is it's got in from the other half of the semi, though I would have thought that if it did, even him next door would notice on one of his occasional visits. I just try to ignore it.
Nice hot day in Ronda today, some sort of fiesta with people riding in their carriages and all dolled up with mantillas and such and going into the bullring to win prizes for their horses. Our guide says most of them are actually Brits who live in the Valley Of The British nearby. Do the Brits in the Balearics do this sort of thing?
