Ok, so I know it’s only Saturday but I believe in forward planning.
As we’re away at the mo, we’ve found a dog friendly place which does a traditional Sunday lunch, which we will be partaking of.
I do love a Sunday roast but rarely, if ever, bother these days just for the two of us.
Looking forward to it :)
That sounds delicious, you've really got my gastric juices flowing now!.
I'm having beef in black bean sauce later.
Its nice to know that there are some restaurants around that cater for all kinds of folk.
My brother and his wife have also found an eatery that welcomes well behaved dogs and their dog just sits under the table and is good as gold.
Cabbage-roll casserole done in a slow-cooker. It tastes just like cabbage-rolls but you don't have to do all that silly wrapping with the cabbage leaves...May that's why it's sometimes called lazy-man's cabbage-rolls:)
Doggy people saying that dogs don't smell is like smokers saying that fags don't smell. Dogs always smell doggy, most of them slobber and most want to lick anyone who passes by. Yuk!
Well we were going to have beef enchiladas with some spicy pulled beef I had in the freezer. But i accidentally got pork out instead. So now I have to make some bread rolls, apple sauce and stuffing!!!
Vagus - carrots, parsnips, onions, butter beans, baked beans (gives it a lovely flavour!) potatoes and some left over peppers I had. Very tasty I can assure you.
Bought and cooked a nice piece of Brisket, made a pan of broth and will have a few slices of the meat tonight with steamed baby potatoes and assorted veg.
Love well behaved dogs in a Pub/Restaurant, adds a nice cosy feel to a place.
It's warm and comforting on a cold, miserable day Vagus which today has turned out to be, despite sunshine being forecast on the radio this morning ! Enjoy your Sunday lunch ..
