Americans shooting at their own military? In WW2, my dad said the U.S. Airforce were known among the Allies as the American Luftwaffe. Always guilty of the proverbial "friendly fire".

Clarion, yes, I seem to recall in the first Iraq war more Brits were killed by Yanks than by Iraqis.
