israel is reported to have opened fire on a crowd of palestinians trying to get food resulting in hundreds of injuries and deaths 

the IDF initially claimed that all the deaths were due to a stampede but has since changed their story to say that they used tanks to fire "warning shots" after videos on social media appear to show israeli tanks targeting the crowd... 

eyewitnesses say that the IDF simply fired on them 

why do reports like this seem to follow the IDF whereever it goes? why doesn't the west do anything about it?

The food in that convoy was intended to go to the maximum amount people, distributed in as orderly a manner as possible and not to be attacked by a horde of greedy young yobs.

Would you liked to have had to face up to them? you've no doubt seen the aerial film.

I think Khandro is talking more about the drivers of the trucks that were being attacked and being scared stiff when they were only trying to help by delivering food and supplies.  Would any of you want to go back there after seeing this happen.

they were starving khandro and israel prevents all but the tiniest trickle of aid getting through... you would do the same as would anyone

if you did believe that israel did this (and yes on the basis of the available evidence i do believe that they did but that is beside the point) then would you still support them anyway or would you rethink your position? i do not believe this is a difficult question.

I don't condone shooting people in cold blood - as we know without doubt Hamas did - but under no circumstances would I disregard the bigger picture.   Capitulating to the determination of Hamas and its ilk to allow them to create an Islamic state where once was Israel would be disastrous for the world.    Be careful what you wish for.

opposing the destruction of israel does not necessitate support for colonizing and brutalizing surrounding territories... does israel need colonialism to exist? i don't think that it does

erm doesnt Israel say that  Gaza ( and the millions of displaced Arabs) isnt part of israel. ( well that is  convenient when you vote- they dont have any)
