Good morning to all, trust the weekend has been a good one and now we get down to the nitty gritty of a new week and the various reactions to Kate's conundrum she has set for us this time around.
Hopefully, before too long, My trusty partner in crime will post the answers to that conundrum and then the fun will start - did anyone get any right ??? This week I like our chances, but with Kate, who knows.......................................??????
All will be revealed though, very shortly - more later S

I don't believe it, I truly don't - in spite of bonus points going left right and centre no-one actually picked 4 out of 4
Now for some analysis -
Maltese Cross, Afghan Hound & Irish Stew all departed in the first frantic flurry of two minutes, consequently Aquagility, seekeerz, Fibonacci & freebi2 all scored 6 points for 3 out of 4.
slaney was also in the 'first flurry' and scored 2 points for sticking with the Stew
dust, fur and feather had settled before JMR27 came in just after 8.30 with the final match of Emergency Vehicle [knew she'd throw in a sneaky one somewhere !! ] and that's where the bonus points went this weekend.
Still, a lot of points were awarded in the good guesses category- 3 points to each ulysses100, cliffyg, Jim [of Jim Jools] merched, Elspeth & brizzer
2 points went to lysander, sarumite, bridgenut, LaneyB, JRB, teacher1, Eiggam,ShazzaHewat, twosearch, David masterchef, wickedtongue, keyboardix, cpfcrosiel, Cleocima & Muzz
And rounding out the field, with one point each were Grenmus, chiefpanda, DizzyLizzie, rogerr, crofter, MalcolmR, devadiva, gen2, miss meg, ChrisHewat [reindeer stew ??] MeadowLane, Mr O, masterchef, cheshunt & barmit & welcome to you, barmit, - you're more than welcome.
Well that's how that little lot all panned out, before the comp gets too toey, I'll print this lot and come back with an update of the progressive scores....think a nice restorative cuppa might be the go just now....... back later S
oh dear, after the last 4 comments I'm almost too scared to post that update I mentioned.....but not that scared !!!
So after two weeks of August - Aquagility & seekeerz [now that's a worry, if ever I saw one !!!]
are sharing the lead each with 8 points
sharing second , also each with 6 points, are freebi2 &
Fibonacci a newcomer to our revelry.
Next with 4 points each Alibobs, Jim, Eiggam & twosearch
And with 3 points ulysses100, sarumite, merched, cliffyg, wickedtongue, Elspeth, cpfcrociel, & brizzer
however, the month is but young and as this weekend clearly proves, anything can and probably will happen.
very glad to hear that you are well on the mend, ulysses - shows you what the power of positive thought can do - all those healing vibes coming your way !!!
OK I'm out of here for the time being - will go and enjoy my 5.1 seconds of fame or whatever you like to call it, catch yp with everyone later, cheers Steff.

Sorry, Alibobs definitely not intentional - I have you scored for it and added to overall for total of 4 - muchos apologies, still somewhat overwhelmed by results !!
wish I could score some on your wavelength.
Dear Aquagility how dare you nick off and leave me at this crucial moment - I'll have no-one to blame if the wheels come off while carrying the burden for us both !!!! I don't know, MEN !!!! most unreliable species on the earth
[ps - when are you leaving ???] typical fickle female, gee I hope sarumite comes back on line soon, at least I can rely on him ciao for now S xx
