I believe in a kind and loving God, the Creator of all there is.
The God of the Bible.
Deny Him at your peril.
In the O/T Gods' actions are questioned by todays atheists, but God built a nation using human strengths and weaknesses. The Jews. An amazing people with an amazing history, foretold in scripture.
Using human intervention in His nation building, God allowed ethnic cleansing and genocide, and indeed ordered it.
Should we judge God for this? Or should we trust in His higher majestic wisdom, as we ask our children to trust in us?

Theland, no, that isn't ok for now. They turned their backs on him, but he didn't turn his back on them. If salvation can only be obtained through the son, then it makes no sense at all to say the Jews are exempt - despite the millions of books that have been written.

Gromit - You are a very polite and thoughtful person, and you are absolutely correct in admonishing me if you think that I am compromising my integrity. For starters, it keeps me on my toes.
I am not a hateful person, on the contrary, my credo is love, and the supreme love of Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, this gets me in hot water with my atheist friends on here.

My father was RC and naturally I loved him, but I hate the evil teachings of these institutions. So Roman Catholics are like Muslims?

So just as you place all Muslims in one category, is it fair to put all Christians into one category - and of course if you do then you hate yourself?

Everybody even god needs a bit of the bad to go with the good!!! I dont judge him for it at all cos we ALL need ying and yang, the perfect balance etc. Does that make sense?? I see god as more of a pagan god than scriptures although i deeply respect the bible. The bible has been corrupt by hundreds of power seeking men over the years!!!!

Ive asked myself this question soooo many times cos i studied the nephilim for ages. In genesis it says that god brought the flood to kill off these huge creatures that came onto earth from above and ravaged human women and had their babies. It was this race that god wanted to get rid of. Unbeleiveably cruel, it was not the babies fault at all they did not get asked to be born!!!
