FRANKIE IS HOME. - Hurray.
We brought Frankie home this afternoon, but he is still one very poorly puss. He is lying in his basket sleeping at the moment. He has to be hand fed because he's not interested in food yet. His temperature is nearly down to normal, but he has to stay on 4 different kinds of tablets, twice a day, at least until Tuesday next week, when we have to take him back to the vet again. He isn't allowed out, although he isn't likely to want to for a while yet. It will be a bit difficult with two other cats in and out the cat flap, when Frankie feels a bit better, but will cross that bridge when I come to it. The vet is happy with the progress so far, but stressed that although he is still quite poorly, he will be better in his own surroundings. And so will I. All Frankie wants to do is sleep, which will help him recover.
Although I'm still worried about him, I do feel better just for having him home. If there is any change at all in his condition, I have to phone the vet and get him there immediately, so it looks as if we're not out of the wood yet but are getting there slowly. Thanks a million to everyone, you've all been great, and I don't know what I would have done without you. Much love to all. Schutz.
