Morning all!
Hip getting better but still uncomfortable but ok. I hate rehab it is so boring the physio says I am way stronger than she thought and has me rolling huge balls up and down a wall with my arms! Most of us there have tendonitis !
Summer is here but bearable heatwise atm, tourists, argh!!!

it may be boring but its doing you good! Difficult day here, dogs hate the flies and the air pressure changes and have been restless all day poor boys. My day's highlight was finding out that a dishwasher tablet in my washing machine cleans it better than dishwasher cleaner. Living the dream.

Evening each
It was exciting here today too.Woke up to no hot water and I had an appt for a blood test at the doctor for the usual MoT so had to boil kettles of water and go there with untidy hair.
British Gas rode to the rescue but it looks as if we're going to have to have a new boiler at some stage.There's always something.
Very muggy here too and if the pressure and humidity affect me I can quite understand it affecting the woofers.
We escaped most of the heavy rain that was forecast but there were loud claps of thunder last night.
Keep doing the exercises Neti. I still ride my bike every day.Anything to avoid falling completely to bits.

Dishwasher tablets are great for all sorts. I clean the oven door with them and they take all the gunge off.

no Neti, not to clean clothes, to clean the washing machine itself....oo hadn't thouight of using them on the oven!

apparently the temperature is pushing up toward 30 next week, so I may be able to remove my ski socks.

Hip better today. Rehab still boring but have a man physio on Monday, better do my hair!
I'm the.oppoaite now shaney no cold water as it runs over land and gets jolly hot. I have to run it off to get cooler water and that annoys me as water is so precious here
I've made apricot pies and found d 2 cockroaches on garden steps! One as I was going to physio and he walk dealt with and then another on steps on way home and not the same one although it was dead
As long as they dont come in the house that's ok!

To clean ( not very often) my washing machine I tip a bottle of cheap vinegar and hot wash !

I have bought a stretchy anti mosquito bracelet and am wearing on my ankle
If it works I'll get another one for other leg!!

right, I have medical appointments for Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, plus I'm arranging a dental appointment for Friday.

Don't know what I'll do about Wednesday, my life will be barren of meaning...

local open gardens day today (OH is on the organising committee), so an enjoyable afternoon looking at everyone's back yard. They are mostly all the same size, shape and orientation, so anything they grow we can go, but it's nice to see the completely different ways people deal with similar properties.

After that a little barbecue, of which I was notified at the last second, but that was nice too. We discussed all the latest rumours about Prince William.

Very strange overcast weather here, energy draining
I got up at 7 then
I did my hated rehab then came straight home as having tummy trouble with whining and dining for the last 3 days! So did my roots and am a very light shade of lilac .
I think I like it.
This is the 6th time and it looks different every time! Making crisp shell tacos for dinner.
