Yesterday it was san Juan firework night! Was only ever celebrated on the other side of the island but last night it was bangs everywhere ! And now still loud bangs
We've never in all.my 50 yrs here celebrated it I my town till now! Its annoying and dogs are going mad!

there has allegedly been talk of infidelity, woofgang, and apparently it's been whispered about in the Mail. But nobody last night seemed to think it was at all likely. Not that it isn't in the genes, of course.

Hello all
Nice bright day now after torrential rain earlier.
I was burgled by a bee early this morning. Mahoosive great thing who must have been trying to get out of the rain.I ushered it out of the bedroom window only to meet it again in the bathroom,then when I went down to make a cuppa I opened the kitchen window and in it bumbled again.I did laugh.I'm sure it was the same bee unless it had partners in crime.
Very muggy now.Hope you're all ok after the storms and soaking. we've had.

right, so far I have had a wart on my face cryotherapised, and I am going to have a chest pain stress test in a month or two. Tomorrow off, apart from a man coming to fix the electric loo, then another couple of appointments at the end of the week. I don't know which has more things going wrong, me or the house.

There's always something Jno.I hope you're not too sore after your Cryo thingy.
They managed to get some blood out of me today as last week in spite of three goes they got none.So I'm two appts down and two to go but have another one next week to discuss medication.My calendar is full of all things medical instead of parties ,discos and generally having a ball:)

well I have got a dry roof on my shed which is genuine progress. They were supposed to be coming on monday afternoon but it got to 4pm and no show so I phoned. Bloke who answered the phone said I am glad you phoned we have lost all your paperwork and didn't have your address and phone number Me: why did you need paperwork? there is a string of emails between Jean (office manager) and me with all my details in. bloke: oh no there's nothing on the computer....oh bloody hell...... anyway they turned up on tuesday full of apologies and gave me a cash discount.

Evening all
My ab got stuck so had to sign on again
Yes the horrendous heat is now here, but pool is now ready and air con up and running
Heat is only for a couple of days then we get our normal summer heat which is about the same!
Mr.N is getting under my feet and annoying me! But he is doing the dinners, not that we are too hungry on this heat but we can at least buy ding dinners now and micro potatoes 8 mins in micro and delicious.

Summer's on its way here too Neti but I think it only a 24 hour heatwave.
Worth the wait for a discount Woofy .I wish they gave discounts for poor old short sighted people. I'm still wincing at paying 275 quid this afternoon for a pair of glasses and also being told I now have cataracts in both eyes.I'm wondering how much the dentist is going to extract from my purse tomorrow. I'll be glad when this week is over and I can get off this tour.

yes decent glasses do cost. My Mum had cataracts and had them sorted one when she was in her 70's and the other in her 80's. Complete success. My sis has got an unusual prescription and she is picky about her lenses and frames and she pays eyewatering amounts for hers. Got a nice man (same one what took down the old TV arial) coming on friday to fix the broken roof ridge tile...I wonder what else will break next, I hope its not me.

oh, we've got a TV aerial man coming too. The electric loo man has been and provided a new seat (it was the hinges that were the problem). I am going to see some doctor I've never heard of before, a locum I suppose, tomorrow then I will nag Dr Implant for an appointment on Friday.

My air con started spewing out little black smuts so Mr N is trying to sort it. I darent breathe all that in at night!
Am sitting at a pavement cafe having coffee and there's a cooling breeze so very pleasant but I have the long walk home uphill in a while. I may buy a bathing costume while I am down town.

there should be some sort of copy and paste option, but you might have to read the manual. It's an almighty faff on my little iPiddle so I only do it on the desktop.
