Oooh, that's brilliant Jno.I hope you enjoy it and will be able to see for miles and miles and miles........
I saw them way back in the year dot in Rochester,I think it was 1967 or thereabouts.
Goodnight all.
My page shrinks to half now on phone
Very hard to read
We decided that no way could we walk back uphill from village so we drove to a small village(San Carlos)and went to a delightful old bar which hadn't changed since the 70s. S lovely cool outside garden to sit in
We had very expensive tapas, he's still moaning now! Now watching tennis
Go on Rafa, atope!!!

Hello all, I have got a hot weather stomach upset which is a real nuisance. Loads of stuff I would like to get on with and I can’t. Bathroom curtains are up though and looking good.
what an odd concert. They had an orchestra on stage, about 40 players, so a long way from their roots. They were hugely loud, so I had to stuff tissue paper in my ears, which meant the effect was rather muffled; but we both thought that the sound balance was poor. (I don't suppose Wembley was really built with acoustics in mind.) They sang exactly one song that everyone joined in on (Substitute) and a lot of meandering prog rock stuff which may be from their new album.

I don't want to criticise artists for using new material but when it's so noisy I have to block my ears, it's rather a waste of time.
I haven’t been to many live performances but I think all of them have been badly balanced and too loud. We are awake because its raining and Shughy can’t sleep
Had a terrible wind storm all night. I was up and down constantly keeping my eye on the pool canopy with lights which was trying to take off! But it survived! This am I had to scour the land doe the broken lights, several were in the pool!
And today it is overcast and 33° more like 37°c and cant breathe out there, so we staying in
It's his birthday tomorrow so we'll go out then!!

Hello all
That's very disappointing Jno.I don't think I could stand live loud stuff like that either these days but you would have thought they could have played more of their original stuff.I hope the tickets didn't cost you mega money !
Nice day here ,a change from yesterday which was quite chilly and drizzly all day. Rafa's match was good Neti and Serena and Andy were brilliant in the doubles.
Nothing much doing otherwise .Hope you're all ok.
Hallelujah for pre prepared food
We bought a boned rolled chicken with prunes which was delicious served cold just like posh ham, and also bought a caesar salad which you mix at home, well, that's done us very nicely!
Yea very good matches shaney
Gosh I remember when I used to play tennis...
In gorgeous gussie's era!! Last time we played I couldn't see the ball once it passed the net!
Having a really lazy day just binge watching youtube!
Good morning
Very overcast and hot again with spots of rain. Its Mr Ns birthday so I am taking him out for brekkie and then lunch

well, I have thrown out a dozen T-shirts that have failed to adapt to changed circumstancees. But it doesn't seem to have created any space at all on my shelves. How disappointing.

I've been summoned to hospital for a stress ECG tomorrow. I have explained that I can't do bikes and treadmills, my knees will just collapse, so they will inject me with drugs instead. Still, all for the best, i suppose.
They could put you in a room with six ab-ers arguing over brexit?

Evening all
My brother had to have those stress tests for his atrial fibrillation thing .He found them stressful 'cos he had to the treadmill stuff and he's a hefty man.Hope you get on ok though Jno.
Hope Mr N enjoyed his birthday Neti.
Nothing much doing her.Not very nice weather .We seem to be under clouds that won't shift and it's been drizzly and clammy today.
Went and picked up my new specs this afternoon.I can see you all very clearly now so stop fidgeting about and sit up straight and what are all those crumbs doing in your keyboards:-)
Night all.
stress test wsn't too bad, though he was really jamming the scanner thing between my ribs. Anyway, they said there was nothing requiring them to call a doctor in at once.

I see my former d-i-l has remarried. Six bridesmaids again.
Well she is keeping the dress business in funds
ah me, back to the dentist because the antibiotics didn't really stop my tooth hurting when it hit the one above it. The dentists says the root canal has already beeen filled but she suspects there's another one, not showing up in the X-ray, that needs treating, but I'm going to have to have some sort of superscan to show it. And if there isn't another one, the tooth comes out. As it's a front tooth, I'm not looking forward to this. I have a wedding coming up next year ... I was missing teeth for the last one, but they were side teeth.
Teeth, shins, prostates, the female reproductive system.....we really are a mass of design flaws

Hello all
You're telling me Woofy,I seem to be a design disaster lately.
Hope you're all ok though .Not a bad day ,breezy and sunny in parts so far. Sporting Sunday for us .Mr S is watching the cricket and I'm watching the men's final later. Great to see Simona Halep win yesterday. I think Serena has had her day .She did well to get to the final but you could see she was puffing a bit when Halep made her run around.
Crikey Jno.Hope they can sort you out as soon as. Can't have glum faces on wedding pics.
Am enjoying the mens final! Stayed in all day as you hot to go anywhere
Did I tell you that Mr N was doing a job and got stung 4 x by wasps
Once on each calf which are now very red and swollen and twice on one thumb which is fat and red! And hes going back there tomorrow!!
*too hot to go anywhere *
