'When things go wrong, as they sometimes will and life's a struggle - all uphill...' Can anyone tell me the poem please? Not the cheeky version I found on a birthday card ! :-)

Morning all - yum Vinny think I'll visit you. Have you tried Goat's Cheese salad (either uncooked or on toasted baguette) and dressed with a Raspberry and Balsamic coulis? It is delicious. To make the dressing simply put in a couple of teaspoons (or any amount) of Raspberry jam and add balsamic vinegar and shake it all about, you have to adjust the amount to your liking but it's incredibly tasty.
g'day me dears...been a bit parky here this morning....typical of the weather to take a downturn as my son sets off on his world tour of Britain (well most of it) on Saturday.

Hiya possums, do you think you could be a little less funny, please - I'm making a public spectacle of myself again, and psychological research (erm, well, Candid Camera, actually) has shown that it's very upsetting to other people when you're laughing out loud and they're not in on the joke.
Thanks for the quorn and carotino info, Vinny. If it's possible to overdose on quinoa I think I'm doing it, and now I'm thinking quorn might go well with that. The oil I haven't heard of but I'll look for it, I like oils and I'm not afraid of fat generally, just the trans fats. About the Tivalls, I'll have to get back to you - I think I know what I meant but I want to check it again so as not to tell a lie.
Are you walling somebody up, Jude? / Jude, you asked if you were the only female biddy into sports. Better late than never: Sorry but I just can't concentrate when watching sports. My one and only sports hallelujah was when CBS 60 minutes portrayed Tiger Woods and showed some legendary moment when he had won the whole something-something after the golf ball had first moved at a creep on its way to the hole and then actually stopped and hesitated forever on the very rim of the hole before finally dropping down. I watched that at 3 in the morning and I screamed out loud although I do not like to disturb my neighbours. Tiger is married to a Swedish girl now btw. There was talk of them buying a residence here but I don't know if they did.
Neti, can George do this? Well he could if you bought him the miracle bags that the duvets and pillows to the right have been stored in. (The two different piles are for comparison.) You use the vacuum cleaner on the bags to create a vacuum inside them, which minimizes the space that pillows et cetera occupy in your wardrobe. More room for George. It's a win-win situation. Keeps the moths away too.

Could be they're just exporting their trans fats, Vinny... Yours seems okay, according to this. (I'll explain better another day about what I meant.)
Found your missing pop socks yet, Robinia? I didn't know what those were (in English), so I googled as usual and oh I see, hun. takes cover against new cannonade of meat balls
"Where do missing socks go", well I don't know but I'm thinking I should write a song about it and set it to that old tune "Where do broken hearts go" - imagine the hit potential. Actually, I think that all missing socks live on that planet that was discovered a week ago. They come there through a black hole in our plumbing systems - well, at least in yours, Shaney.
That sock song has made me think of What Becomes of the Broken Hearted, which reminds me I've been meaning to ask you Robinia if you've got the 4 cd box set Hitsville USA / The Motown Singles Collection 1959-1971. I bought mine when it was new (early nineties), so I don't even know if it's available anymore, but do check that out, it's a treasure chest. Dancing In The Street, I Can't Help Myself, Baby I Need Your Loving, Sexual Healing, Reach Out I'll Be There, My Guy, I Heard It Through The Grapevine, For Once In My Life, I Second That Emotion, What's Going On...
How great is this. Not Motown and not in the box set but
sam's da man
Bye for now (they're closing.)
